Chelsea invincible?

It's just this type of constant aggressive tone every single day to anyone who has a different view.

...............

If you don't like my comments, filter me. You have that option.

I don't in particularly like you, in fact I think you are an utter tool, but I don't whine about you like a little girl.

It is my opinion that only an idiot would come to the conclusion that Chelsea will go unbeaten after 9 games. I am entitled to that opinion.

Or are you one of those that wants to sensor everyone's opinions if you don't happen to like them?

They have been charmed re. injuries.

If Chelsea lose two from Terry, Matic, Ivanovic and Cahill they will concede regularly.

Absolutely no chance in my book.

F-ck me, why did I even bother?

You do have a very good point there.

We have seen before how poor defensively Chelsea are when Terry is absent.

Now, I don't like the guy at all but he is Mr Chelsea. He is going to be very hard to replace.

Just for you my over sensitive little friend.

Any one who can come to the conclusion that Chelsea will go unbeaten after just 9 games has clearly lost one or two marbles.

Better?

What is particularly annoying is that they will buy his replacement maybe even as soon as January and you can be assured he will be an excellent, proven defender.

They've already got Zuma who while isn't quite ready yet is a brilliant talent and prospect who if nurtured the correct way could be another great player for Chelsea, similar things could be said of Christensen and Ake too. Ivanovic is another who can easily slot into CB and do a brilliant job.

Any club would struggle with injuries to their spine but I would say Chelsea are probably better equipped to deal with it that others.

Hopefully we will see. They certainly have not been in the past.

I doubt very much if Zouma, Christensen and Ake will break through.

Chelsea don't gamble. Especially when they have the likes of Varane's agent in their pockets.

The sooner they get a dose of Bird Flu the better!

There is 29 (Twenty Nine) games left to play!

If they are still unbeaten in March, let's talk.

I remember that season when we got to around December unbeaten (?) and the burden became too much, we started playing too defensively (not that that would be a huge departure for Chelsea).

I hate how people throw around the phrase "unbeaten season" or "treble", like these achievements are easy to come by. This time last season some people in the media were on about City winning the treble.

The Equaliser

Why don't you rate Zouma? Only a year ago he was being compared to Varane and was very good at St Etienne from all accounts. Chelsea have a great record of buying talent and getting them experience through loans. He has the ability to be a very good defender.

I like this phrase 'from all accounts'.

It might be something worth not basing an opinion on, to be honest.

I assumed you had great knowledge of the player.

The Equaliser

Why don't you rate Zouma?
---------------------------------------
It's hard to rate any centre back who plays with either a Cahill or Terry as well as being shielded by defensive midfielders and full backs who stay back.

My point is that Chelsea are Russian.

They buy what is needed not what might be needed. If it is a choice between Pique or Zouma this January they will go for the established player.

Put it this way. Expect to see Fabregas out on his ear if he gets marked out of games as easily as he was last Sunday.

Well don't assume, Am I not allowed to label a player a brilliant talent because I've read many good things about him?

He's been touted as a great talent for a while now and is still only 20, whether he reaches that potential is unsure but I'm curious as to why the Equaliser doubts he will make it when he's only been at the club for less than a year and only made his debut fro the club last week.

"They buy what is needed not what might be needed."

That isn't necessarily true, they probably more than any other club buy for what might be needed in the future. Was Courtois needed when they bought him?

And your example of Pique isn't great, he isn't really the type of defender Jose goes for, Zouma is far more equipped to offer the type of role Jose looks for in a CB.

And your example of Pique isn't great - Possibly

You are quite welcome to.

Just don't go on one of your tirades if I don't take you seriously.

If I say something about a player and I haven't seen much of them, I tend to say so, and probably wouldn't offer much of an opinion due to that.

Funnily enough I did the same reference Falcao and assists earlier today.

Can I now assume you know very little about the other CB's you mentioned earlier, other than what you have read.

posted on 29/10/14

Why was a Coutois needed any more than Zouma is now?

Courtois was bought 3 years ago as a 19 year old with only 1 season played when Cech was 29 and arguably the best keeper in the league. How was his signing needed as you put it any more so than Zouma who was also bought as a 19 year old while Chelsea had more than enough players already in defence.

posted on 29/10/14

I highly doubt it considering how rare it is. There are still flaws there for me, just less than other teams have.

I wouldn't bet on it even if they were unbeaten in February to be honest, let alone now.

What the f-ck are you blabbering on about now?

I use the phrase 'from all accounts' to denote I am basing my view on the many things I have read, do you understand that?

Other defenders? You mean the bit where I said 'similar things could be said of Christensen and Ake too'? Maybe understand what I'm saying there, in no way did I claim to know how good they are which is why I used the word 'could'.
