I highly doubt it considering how rare it is. There are still flaws there for me, just less than other teams have.

There were flaws in the Arsenal team too, that's why fortune has to be massivly in your favour.

Firstly, you need to meet teams who aren't in their best form, for the best part, you need none of the 19 teams you play to exploit your weakness in 38 games, there is fatigue to think about, officials decisions, injuries.

Way too many variables for somebody to confident of an unbeaten season.

I use the phrase 'from all accounts' to denote I am basing my view on the many things I have read, do you understand that?

.....................

Yes perfectly, hence my reply.

What part of my reply are you having trouble understanding, it looked pretty clear and straight to the point as well, without any abuse or sarcasm, I might add.

I don't f-cking care you senile old tw-at!

I'm discussing with the Equalizer why he feels Zouma will not make it at Chelsea.

Go empty your nappy.

Zouma will make it at Chelsea, but he will make mistakes to begin with.

He is not a replacement for JT though.

I think so too, from what I've read of that lad.

Who is a JT replacement though? Those type of players are a dying breed. From what I've read of Zouma one of his strengths are his leadership qualities. As he develops and improves as a player who knows, maybe he could do a job?

Then stop asking me what I don't understand, I don't care!

What does it have to do with this debate, nothing.

I think it's unlikely as I think they will get to the latter stages of a few cup competitions. They do look light without Costa and take out him and Hazard they could well lose a game of football. That's no slate on Cheslea by the way, you could take the best players out of any side and they'd struggle, but it's why I think they may not go unbeaten. In fact I think it's very unlikely.

Maybe you should care, then you won't come a cross as a very grumpy individual. Sort of a Victor Meldrew, but without being funny.

They've already got Zuma who while isn't quite ready yet is a brilliant talent and prospect who if nurtured the correct way could be another great player for Chelsea, similar things could be said of Christensen and Ake too. .......

I assumed you actually had some first hand knowledge of the players, not what you had read.

Do you understand now, it isn't difficult. Well it isn't for any normal person.

Seriously, what the f-ck are you blabbering on about now???

I don't care about what you don't understand that I supposedly don't in this post. Why have you brought up a comment I made (which I have no recollection of) without any context what so ever to prove???

You assumed, I said maybe you shouldn't have. End of. Why the f-ck is this still going on, are you sure you don't suffer from Dementia?

Again, what part of it don't you understand, this isn't difficult?

I will try the rude approach, as you can't understand the civil one.

Here is your comment.

Well don't assume, Am I not allowed to label a player a brilliant talent because I've read many good things about him?

............

Only an absolute cretin of the highest order would label a player a brilliant prospect by things he has read about the player.

Maybe you understand now, thick boy.

Mostly.

He was funnier in Only When I Laugh, mind.

Could be right, I rate Jones and love his determination but it is becoming increasingly tiresome the number of injuries he is getting. But then again you take away that determination which is why he gets injured so often and you're left with half the player.

In fact one of the main weaknesses I have read of Zouma is his injury record, maybe it's a similar case.

Can't ever remember seeing zouma play but have read he is talented

The thing on a Chelsea going undefeated all season - history tells us it's nigh on impossible. Like others have said, it needs a fair bit of luck to do it like keeping key players fit, on form all season, sometimes playing 3 times a week, other teams not getting some good luck, bans etc etc

Far too many variables that can happen with 3 quarters of the season still to go.

Personally, I think they are lightweight at cf

posted on 29/10/14

True but this is about going undefeated and defensively they are a very organised unit who are not likely to let much get through. Even if Costa is injured, as well as someone like Hazard it would likely mean Jose putting even more emphasis on having a compact side with a defensive mind set.

Of course it's highly unlikely they will but they are better set up than most teams recently to do so.

This is a sensible comment.

Congrats.

I think they are better set up than any team to do so, including Barca, Real and Bayern.

Well my first comment on this entire post was

'Unlikely but who knows.'

I think Bayern are better set up, less competition and easily the strongest in their league this year. They nearly went undefeated last season, only losing after they had wrapped up the title.

This is fair, and I agree.

I was thinking more in line with the CL, which isn't really what the thread is about.
