Ah ok Afc I think the real reason is because of bias.

B10 that wasn't the question. If that was the question, who is the best overall player signed this season then it would be Fabregas, Di Maria or Falcao to win. The question is who has been the best so far this season?

Probably

Best - Cesc, Sigurdson, Tadic or possibly Forster.
Worst - Balotelli.

Best - Costa defenders musr absolutely hate playing against him
Sanchez, quality player where would Arsenal be without him
other good signings Pelle,Song,Tadic

Worst - Balotelli i couldn't understand this signing and so far it hasn't worked out
Mangala, he will probably get better but so far he has been terrible
Lovren,Ferdinand

Best: Fabregas, Costa, Sanchez, Pelle, Song

Worst: bit early to say but Falcoa, Ballotelli, Rio Ferdinand have big reputations and have failed to deliver so far....again, its early though.

Id say the worst signing would be one who hasn't made it into the first team. The fact that players like Balo are playing every week would count them out of contention. Maybe Ferdinand at QPR sitting on the bench is a good shout.

Brown at West Brom cost a pretty penny as did Long and Mangala. The attention Mario gets is insane.

"The attention Mario gets is insane."

Er, yeah, weird that - he's such a quiet, retiring type, who shuns the media spotlight and no-one's ever really tried to hype him as a player.

"Worst - Balotelli"

No way Balo is worst..for 16 million he is decent buy..Only not reaching his potential does not make him worst...The worst are other signing Lolpool made.

Sanchez is best hands down

Rojo, Lovren or Mangala are the worst - Big money defenders seem to always escape criticism for some reason

Although I take your point as a result of me not reading tabloids, heat or just watching MOTD I don't see what singles out Mario for all the attention. He's been good as gold really in terms of his temprament (something that was highlighted and he has certainly had some treatment), he ould have worked harder, yes, and he could have scored more goals but really most of the attention he gets is disproportionate.

Hit a goal that could well mean we qualify from our CL gorup. Hit a goal that has got us to the last eight of another competition and I thought he was decent against Hull and improving.

You then have players like Long, Brown, Mangala, Luis, Lukaku, Shaw and Falcao who can't get on the pitch and when they do are not exactly setting the world alight.

Just seems a bit disproportionate to me. Saying that I reacted badly when he swapped shirts but I've been talked round now and it does all seem a bit over the top.

Tadic has been the best.

Cabella the worst until Spurs made him look world class on Sunday.
Riviere was also bad business.

Newcastles shockers have gone under the radar a bit, even with the haircuts

Worst: bit early to say but Falcoa
----------------------------
Really? He's gotten a goal or assist everytime he's started a game. Plus a matchwinner in one of his 3? Definitely not the worst for a loanee so far

Riviere is awful.

Value for money, Sakho, Song and Pelle look the best.

Best players actually signed though, well Di Maria, Alexis, Cesc and Costa have all hit the ground running and have met expectations so far.

Worst signings are Balotelli, Rio and Wenger's new contract.

I do find these threads hilarious "Oh Sako, Pelle, Tadic etc look like quality players" then next summer when they move to Utd/Spurs/Pool/Arsenal, before a ball has been kicked its "He's the next Downing/ poor man's Heskey" etc.

What has their next move got to do with their success thus far this season. If any move to bigger clubs that will only enhance the quality of signing by the club.

How is that even remotely hilarous? And why would the moving to one of those clubs cue a "He's the next Downing/ poor man's Heskey" etc."

Don't ask me, i'm not the one that made such comments about players that moved to better clubs this summer
