"Generally, Man City tend to start slowly, so if we can come out the blocks and get a lead within 20 minutes and keep the momentum I think we have a chance. "

Are you talking about just the derby there?

We normally start quickly but then tail off if we don't score.

It wasn't just Fellaini to be fair - our entire team was shíte - they walked through us time and time again, it could have been 8!

in his debut against city for us he was atrocious.
one of the laziest performances i have ever seen from a utd player and it was one of his first ( if not his debut??) games for us aswell.

That's true, he was just part of the bigger problem though. He did epitomise the performance.

Maybe I have watched a different Man City this season. You barely beat Villa in the dying moments, struggled to get going versus Chelsea and had to score late on versus Arsenal to nick a draw.

I think you steam-rolled Spurs and Hull early on but the games I have seen City have looked stale until the last half hour of games.

we have to close down their players quickly, put them under pressure, they`ll be nervous cos they havent been doing well lately so non would want to make a mistake ,go United

Isn't Silva out for the game now too? That's a huge blow for them

I try not to get too excited by players they might miss.... Look at Chelsea... Costa and Rémy out, who pops up and scores? our old pal Drogba...

Likewise, Herrera gets taken off against WBA at half time due to his injury.... Who pops up and scores? Club legend Fellaini.

We do when we don't score. We start strong, then go subdued for an hour, then kick back into life again usually.

Our tempo is nowhere near last season though.

Agreed, it's not that you start slow I suppose, more so that you get stronger in the latter stages of games.

You stand a very very good chance at the weekend, put it that way.

This season will be the first time since I was around six that I'm not going to make it to either derby game (unless the OT date changes) so I'm a bit gutted!
