I know we lost but I'm pretty proud of that. It was a solid disciplined european performance. We gave ourselves a chance but unfortunately weren't able to create that chance.

Kolo was very good. Can and Lucas solid in the middle. Lallana ran his socks off.

Ibe scored tonight

Proud of the performance but we should have nicked a point there, dissapointed to be honest. Madrid very ordinary in that second half.

Toure has well and truly played himself back in contention, as has Lucas. Id be happy with a midfield 3 of Lucas, Henderson and Gerrard on Saturday. Allen was poor and the only one who was poor.

Gerrard usually has a shocker against Chelsea, rest him again!!

Allen was poor, Lallana average. Thought everyone else was excellent.
