I have always watched football for it's potential to entertain me. So watching the game for 40-odd years has taught me to look for Chelsea and Spurs as the the teams most likely to be opponents that help create an exciting game.

They have, for many years, come to OT littered with technically gifted players and a great attitude to the game.

Two other teams that have often fitted into this category are WHU and NUFC.

As for looking at the fixture list at the beginning of the season. I usually look for the games against the previous season's champion first, then LFC for reasons of rivalry, and then the teams mentioned above for entertainment reasons.

Arsenal have nearly always bored me in all that time - whoever has been in charge - and, over the years, have tended to offer (in one form or another) very one-dimensional football i.e. (and in no particular order) ordinary, defensive, physical, 'tippy-tappy' undisciplined and to make things worse they have had more than their proportionate share of 'simulators'.

Admin: Please sort out the HTML rendering of quotes etc. such as "&quot" as it is doing my head in.
