Toure was good for us last season also but made a couple of mistakes and barely got a look in after that.

However to have a game like he did and get dropped is not on. He's come in and will feel he's grabbed his chance and yet he's not rewarded for it.

Can has been really good recently,

Deserves his spot.

just got to my seat and can't really see the point in the lads who played so well on Tuesday bothering!

it just seems like no matter how well you perform, if you're not in the in crowd you won't play!

Disappointed with that team selection.

If it turns out be a terrible performance (like Newcastle) then serious questions need to be asked about Rodgers.

Kolo made a couple of horrible mistakes last year, but he was good overall. Skrtel and Lovren have been making mistakes all season, but are undroppable

The amount of mistakes Lovren has made this season have already surpassed Kolo and Sakho put together.

Think Borini should be playing, either in for Balotelli, or Coutinho to partner Balotelli.

We seem to have different meanings of good. For me, a player who has offered little in attack, poor decision making and dawdles on the ball, has not been good. Ah well, agree to disagree

Yeah, because getting to play against Madrid, in Madrid, is a real downer.

and play well against the best but then you're dropped!

toure earned the right to play today!!!!!

Lucas and Toure deserved a start. Also tactically they're out best players for today. Lucas is our best DM and Toure won't get bullied by Costa.

So disappointed with that team.

First time pre-match I've felt Rodgers got it wrong. Let's hope it works out.
