Cash games are where it is at if you actually want to make money. Sorted my head out yesterday and played very well indeed! Won all my cash back and a bit on top. When I'm playing like that (sober) I wanna go pro-am!
Had a training day in micro sit n go's on sat. Won $100, two 1sts in a row in the 45 man and one 3rd. Best day in terms of placing i have ever had (obviously won more in live and online tourneys but still)

what were the beats Jud, i lost a full house to a straight flush the other day. Hit the full house on the turn and he got that one 1 outer but it was calling an all in pre from a short stack of about 5 bbs so not too much of a problem (still made the last 7 of 90), it was 88 vs T6s though
first one I had AK clubs, flop 567 clubs, turn J diamonds, river 9 clubs.....hes sat with 5 hearts & 8 clubs for a straight flush.
second (ipad smasher) I had 77, flop is 2 4 7, turn K, river 2....kid sat with 22 for quads to beat my FH.
ipad lobbed at xmas tree, hit corner of TV unit.
I was sat with 800k first hand....dropped to 150k....built it back up to nearly 1.5m and lost the lot on the 2nd beat...finished 40th for about $50
big playing field? thats a shame i imagine you were in a decent position compared to the other stacks

Heads up at the end of a tournament is the best experience in poker imo

They are some bad beats lads feck me. I have been off it for a bit too, due to technical problems. No Christmas trees were involved in the breaking of my laptop though

Just came 20th in a snap tournament. Three all ins pre flop, massive blinds and rakes, whoever wins goes top by 25k.
My AQ against an A9 and J3, and he hits the 9 on the turn.
Other than the cash games are going well enough but it's not half as much fun as a tournament.
Im off cash till i can crush low stake tourneys on stars. Which will take a while, i'd say i have skill edge over most of the fields in sit n gos up to $15 on there.

Im sapper007, probably play the $1 rebuy at 7:15 'cos a few of lads come round and all get in as well...have a fiver a man side bet on who can get farest.
And probably a $15 sit & go before I get drunk...I like booze on Thursdays, but I get a bit too brave!!

Whole lot of fish on there but the coding loves a river so be careful.
Watch the Brazilians on the SAG's as they team up.
If you play on a Friday or Saturday night there is some good cash to be made on the 5/10c and 10/20c tables with low risk - just gotta stay disciplined.
You get loads of free rolls on 888 though and I love a tourney to distract me while I play a cash table.
Making enough to cover my council tax and gas bill now but still got a lot to learn!

Another thing I like about 888 though is that they don't charge you to withdraw so I make 20$ withdraw, make 20$ withdraw, etc.
It keeps me in check.

Saying that I consistently make money off the site.

Tuesday night on at least 3 occasions, I saw JJ v JJ or QQ v QQ or 10 10 v 10 10 - it is the sickest tourney I have ever had the displeasure of stumbling across!!!
But its almost $10k for a win, so worth $8/9 a night I reckon!!
