Belter mate.

I was terrified of that man when I was wee every time I saw him on the telly.

40 years later I found out that some Ulster Prods I knew were terrified as well.

Offski lads - got boring reports shiiit and an early jump.

folk go on about lost and won as if it's a football match and not folks lives.

Either we all lost or we all won

Time will tell
....................................

Clearly the campaigners hoping for a yes vote lost and the ones hoping for a no vote won...

TBH the main reference was just to some of you yes voters being incredibly bad losers, you didn't get your own way so grow up and stop being so childish about it.

We live in a democracy, and at least in the case of this vote, majority rules and the majority didn't agree with you so its time to grow up and get over it

Mick

The rUK would like us to sit down and shut up. Fortunately the world don't work like that.

No but I also wouldn't suggest they start whining how they are not really a country because they lost either, or in general being a bad loser about it.

Nothing wrong with campaigning to make Scotland independent, plenty wrong with being a bad loser and whinging because people didn't vote how you wanted them too.

That is pretty much the definition of an opposition government

Have you never seen Prime Minister's questions?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They whine and criticise government policy, not cry about the fact they lost and make childish remarks regarding the fact their not a country because people didn't vote as they think they should have.

TBH thats based on ignorance then...

Throughout your entire rugby and footballing history you have been part of Britain, in that entire time the recent vote that came out 55 45 is probably the largest amount of people who have wanted an independent Scotland in that entire time...

So Scottish sport means less to you now that more people than ever believe Scotland should be independent....

Whereas back when there was never even enough support for a referendum in the first place it all meant so much more?!

It doesn't make sense.

Also yes it is whining and being a bad loser, being gutted about it is fine but being as spiteful as some of the stuff I replied to is just plain childish.

We've never had a democratic rejection of Scotland as a country well until the 19th of September.

posted on 13/11/14

But considering the opinions of people throughout that time it would have been rejected by an even larger margin if you had had it previously... so people are more in favour of an independent Scotland than they ever were before...

And well you could say you did in a way.... regarding the previous vote where conditions weren't met.

Subs, what you need is a good old fashioned ding-dong with John Bull and wouldn't you know what is around the corner....It's serendipidy!

Dr Hector prescribes beer and a Scotty Broon masterclass, you're national pride to be restored within the week.

Cake and eat it springs to mind.

Its not ignorance...

I just realise whatever I am feeling as an adult its on me not to act like a spoilt brat because I didn't get my own way.

That's why I said in a way, obviously anyone wanting independence would at least want devolution....
