FIFA Whitewash

I heard a good anaylsis of how the report was conducted on the radio last night.

Apparently they could be be selective about who they questioned (tea lady, OK, Jack Warner, not OK) and anyone could refuse to answer questions without fear of reprisal.

The FA answered all questions put to them and were 'admonished'. Certain key individuals didn't so they didn't feature in the report.

It's clear that FIFA are all a bunch of cµnts. The only way they'll change is if the big sponsors start pulling out of events. Money is everything to FIFA

Get over it. Sour grapes coming from England. Now England know that they can't use half measures to win world cup bids. If they want then they need some billionaires to back them.

This morning Kash you were all over these threads giving it all "I told you so, Qatar did nothing wrong blah blah blah" now that Garcia who actually carried out the investigation has come out and said the FIFA report is a load of bullshít you are calling "sour grapes" etc... You obviously feel the need to defend Qatar for some reason (and thus by extension FIFA) and I have no idea why, but you are coming across anything but impartial in your assessments.

Anyone dismissing this as sour grapes really needs to sort out their morals. The story is a lot bigger than England.

FIFA's corruption in regard to the Qatar (and Russia) bids reaches far wider than any English agitation.

He's been defending the Qatar bid since the investigations started... it really is beyond me why. Maybe he is Qatari?

Kash is merely providing a balanced, fair view of the matter rather than the hysterical over-reaction by most English about this.

How dare they accuse WE, THE ENGLISH of doing anything improper? POPPYCOCK!

BOULDER-DASH!

GADZOOKS!

I don't think I said anything in those terms.

What I've been saying all day is that everyone has tried to buy the world cup but Qatar and Russia had a bottomless pitt unlike England who didn't have the rich backing.

I'm not Qatari

I've been defending the scaremongering theories that come out from the British media which happens with all hosts like SA and Ukraine in the past. In Qatar supposedly Gay people were banned, people are banned from drinking etc etc

Maybe Forza is a relative of Blatter, he seems so determined to believe that FIFA are an honest, moral, upstanding bunch who would never get involved in anything murky or controversial.

On another article, the same poster was adamant that Serie A is the least corrupt league in the world. Tells you all you need to know.
