I was really behind Benitez during his spell at Anfield.
I think he'd often be at odds with FSG if he returns.
Times have moved on since. BR brought the good times back to Anfield. Have faith in the BR revolution.
When BR will achieve sustained success at the club and he may wish to move on with his own accord. I have no objection to the return of Rafa. Maybe Rafa with Carra is one for the distant future.

It's a weird one for me. He wouldn't be my first choice but at the same time I wouldn't be bothered if he came back
You'd have more of a chance to get top 4 with Benitez imo. He'd sort your defensive woes out with his organisation skills no doubt. You don't need new defenders. You just look a mess when you're defending
We are a shambles in defence. Brendan thinks in terms of attack and Rafa was a polar opposite. I must say the football we produced last season was incredible at times. I would miss that if Brendan moved on but feel would be far more stable in the big competitions under Rafa.
Get Rafa back as defensive coach
Nah, the time to have brought Rafa back was after Kenny.
However seeing as he wasn't even interviewed for the job then means he isn't in FSG's thoughts at all.
Which is a good thing as BR is the right man. A good manager, who will get better and better with experience. Even if this season is a disappointment he won't be sacked. He still has a minimum of two years at the club.
I have been having problems sleeping recently, so perhaps a rafa led liverpool would help with that again.

Rafa Benitez returns to where ?
I'm a big supporter of Benitez but I'm happy with what Rodgers is doing. As a club we need to work on getting big players and stop with the potential. That's my only issue.

I love how the press put 2+2 together and get 8
There is no way that FSG would have Rafa. His family live on Merseyside but if he got offered a job back in spain they would move in a heart beat.

We didn't really go the potential route this summer did we, with the exception of Origi.

The likes of Can & Markovic are not teenagers, but you would be more inclined to describe them as being players with potential than well established quality players.
Lovren isnt very good.
Balotelli and Lallana are pretty established players, but Balotelli has been terrible. Lallana has shown flashes, and I believe will be a good buy.
Compare that lot to the purchases of Fabregas, Sanchez & Costa for example.
I want BR to stay and be given time but if for whatever reason he does leave then i would be delighted to see Rafa back.
What would Rafa offer that Rogers can't?
FSG have a plan and it's clear Rodgers is part of that......plus to give someone all that money to spend then to sack them after a few bad results would make you a Spurs

Big competition experience
Proven to be able to attract top players
A sound defence
Rodgers is one of the youngest managers in the league at a club with one of the highest expectations in Britain.
It was always going to be a rough ride at times but sticking with Brendan will bring greater rewards than dropping him for a more set-in-ways coach like Rafa as much as I love Rafa.
Rafa's been off the boil since late 2009, a decent spell under difficult circumstances at Chelsea notwithstanding. I think a lot of our fans oversimplify things and say "Rafa's great, I'd have him in a heartbeat", when in fact he hasn't been in the top bracket for some time.
I'm willing to give Rodgers a lot more time, though. I mean, Jesus, we had a shot at winning the title on the last day of the season a few months back, and that was after being a mid-table rabble for years beforehand. If the man who delivered that doesn't deserve time, then who does? You're quickly into a spell where a bad run is intolerable and will be met with the sack.
Spurs, in short.
