It's bad that we are hoping Mali fail to qualify cause I am sure the Wolves pair would love to play in the finals. But if they were missing for a few weeks it would be a big loss as we have seen in recent weeks. With Dicko already out of Saturday's game, let's at least hope Sako doesn't pick up a knock tonight although travelling back in Thursday won't be the best preparation for the weekend anyway

Mali will be without Wolverhampton’s attacking midfielder Bakary Sako who is suspended for an accumulation of bookings.

I read that KJ is assessing Siggy. Mind you, his comments don't sound too encouraging...

“I’m always open-minded, but I didn’t feel he did enough last season.

“I gave him a lot of chances and I didn’t think he took them.

“Bjorn was adamant he wanted to go home and felt the football would suit him.

“I don’t think he’s absolutely ‘torn it up’ there – he’s not been fantastic or poor."

Good news that sako is banned

And yeah, can't see siggy forcing his way back in, as Kenny says, he didn't tear it up over there and spent much of his time injured, unfortunate, but either way, didn't alter either clubs opinion I doubt, they won't have seen enough to sign him, whilst we still havent learnt what he is like given a long run of games in his favored position.

If Sako is suspended, why has he travelled?

That means he will be in the starting line-up on Saturday then.

He played Saturday presumably, then picked up the booking

I read the same comments and my first thought was why on earth hasn’t he watched him? This a £2.5m “asset” that is probably taking the thick end of £20k a week out of the club and our head coach can’t even be árséd to watch him play?

Time for Jackett to stop acting like a teenager unfriending people on Facebook and to start acting like a highly paid professional whose job is to achieve the highest possible finishing place in this league.

Sig might not be very good but then neither is Leon and Jackett has made us watch him often enough. Why should we be the only people suffering?

Made a similar comment about Stale's failure to watch and evaluate Guedioura before deciding that he wasn't for Wolves.

Not sure what goes through some of these managers' heads. Would anyone buy a car without test driving it or a machine without knowing what it can do or how it works!

These are very expensive assets and should be treated as such.

maybe kenny doesn't like flying ?

which beggs the question.......when we qualify for the 2016/17 champions league how will he travel to midweek games ?

Kenny getting on people's wick. Tell it straight, Ken, like Mick used to back in the day.

Thankfully, we stuff Forest at home and it is all forgotten what an untrustworthy man he is.

kenny probably is a little busy to go half way to the north pole to watch someone he knows is complete crap

Probably not a good idea to publicly denounce a player who you hope to profit from in some way, either. Very odd style of management in my view.

Mali 1-0 Algeria (Sako not in squad as Ohso pointed out earlier)
Ethiopia 0-0 Malawi

With regard to Sigurdarson, I think it's up to him whether he wants to give it another go at English football. KJ doesn't need to see him play over there if Kevin Thelwell and our other scouts have, so I guess it all depends on BS's attitude when he returns.

I might be wrong but the way I read his words was that he hadn’t even watched a game.

I’m not expecting him to leave his lodge and swim all the way to Iceland just watch a DVD.
