Cant disagree with much of that MITO.
The slow tempo kills the game for the likes of Coutinho & Sterling. Coutinho eventually came into the game a bit in the last 20mins when we tried to play with a little more purpose.
I thought Allen was ok...certainly better than Gerrard & Lallana.
Sterling's decision making is totally off at the moment. Which is certainly a confidence thing...the bad thing is we cant drop him for anyone at the moment because who's there to step up??
coutinho could get it on half way and tried but the moment he crossed that line there was two backs of 4 v 3 of our players and he could do nothing.
Allen was ok, but average... jsut was.
You are right in that there is no body but there are options like play two up with coutinho at 10 and pack out mdifield. sterling needs a long rest now.
Confidence, both in their own play, and the team in general, is non-existant. Sterling looks devoid of input. Yes, he runs his legs off, the boy is clearly burning out, but yesterday he continued running into a brick wall. Jonhson playing instead of Alberto just doesn't make sense. As everyone here has said, the difference in play when compared to last season is embarrassing. How many side/back passes did the team make yesterday? Remember the times when the play was, "attack, attack, attack." Seems like a lifetime ago.

Nah...alot of the bad performances have been our own doing this season.
To say we're losing to "enthusiatic teams" is clueless and just making up excuses.
Palace were far from good yesterday...that first half performance from them yesterday should've seen us go atleast 3-0 up but we hardly created anything after the goal.
Even he games we have won this season woth exception of spurs could have gine either way. This includes the carling cup games.
We all know something is wrong. I do think br has to just start planning for the future and drop gerrard and johnson. Netiher should get a new contract. Thank you for your service but this is footy and the cycle must continue. We should also get llori back and start playing him with sakho as skrtle and lovren are just oants. We are losing anyway so might as well start blooding on the new breed
I Wudnt mind half as much if Bren was changing the system from the start of games to see if he can make a difference, or dropping poor performers. I cud then put it down to the influx of new faces injuries and some bad form to key players. That I cud accept but this insistence on poor performing players and system that doesn't suit the personnel just screams he's a bad manager! He isn't tho he proved that over the last 2 seasons. So why? Why? WHY DAMMIT????

Someone really needs to question why it was deemed a good idea to spend £25m on a 60 minute player? Lallana every game I have seen him play fades away, he this same reputation at Southampton and more or less does same for England.

Number 4, Aspas was a tongue in cheek comment but I seem to recall last year Moyes and Woodward being blamed for missing out on,
Thiago, Strootman, Fabregas, Modric, Coentrao, Bale (United supposedly offered more than Real). All supposedly available but United failed to clinch the deals.

I think we looked at all those players, but ultimately it's very unlikely we put a bid in for any. It's well documented we didn't for the first 3. I can't say for certain about Modric. Coentrao we were going to take on loan but Real opted to keep him after a deal for the left back they were looking at fell through. And as for Bale, it's ludicrous to think we'd have offered that amount, not only because financially we would have matched Real, but also because Bale is a life long United supporter who spend his fledgling career modelling himself after his hero Ryan Giggs, and would have jumped at the chance to sign. And it's not like Daniel Levy would accept less money, is it? Would have loved for us to have made offers for Bale and Strootman, but sadly we didn't.
From what I understand he didn't pull off the Bale or Fabregas transfers, in fairness to him in the circumstances I am not sure anyone else would have...
Apparently Moyes decided against Thiago and we didn't go in for Coentrao until the end of the transfer window when I think Real rejected us because they didn't get their Coentrao replacement in.
Not sure we ever went in for Modric or Strootman TBH.
