Fair enough - do you think the other opinion of alonso having an agenda is a legitimate one?

Why do you think alonso was being honest in this instance?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for that link MUDD, I hadn't read it before.

MA.... that topic shows you up as being one of the mist unsympathetic, uncaring posters on here.
My wife fell downstairs and cracked her skull in 2010. The impact also caused a haemorrage and bruising of the brain.
She was placed in a medically induced coma, much the same MS & JB and if I remember correctly FM.
Just over a week later she had a craniectomy, removal of part of her skull, to relieve the pressure inside her skull.
A week or so later she stopped breathing but was successfully resuscitated.
She walked around for nearly a year with a hole in her skull before it was patched up. The repair became infected and a year later had to be removed. It was another year nearly before the hole was again repaired.
Now apart from a lump on her forehead and a horrific scar under her hair, most people would say she looks and acts the same as prior to her fall, and has made a remarkable recovery.
I know differently.

The doctors told me she nearly died 3 times in Feb/Mar 2010. And she has made a remarkable recovery for which I thank all the medical team for. However things aren't always what they seem.

Her sense of smell and therefore taste has been dulled. Her behaviour has changed, she is far less tolerant than before, and she has sudden mood swings. She is STILL suffering from the accident and will do for the rest of her life.

So don't you EVER say a 4 year old head injury which someone has apparently recovered from can no longer have an affect on someone.

It can and it does I assure you!

You really DON'T know what you are talking about MA, on this and many other subjects and should refrain from belittling those that possibly might.

Gc - when i referred to him as an awful human being. It was in the knowledge that he holds such opinions.

Terrible man. Who claims phrases such as, harmless opinions. No martial, opinions arent harmless, they can have far reaching consequences

Im sure his response will go along the lines of, childish, infantile, bile, vomit, innuendo etc etc.

Tbh, id jis be happier if he didnt come back or was banned. We all can have a decent discussion, he is incapable, which is proven above, i ask 2 simple questions. Which he either genuinely thinks he has answered, in which case he is stupid, or he is avoiding the question to save face, in which case he is a coward. Or, likely, its both.

Biff on the head - the guy nearly died!!!

He then has the cheek to take the moral high ground on the bianchi forum. Then when challenged, his usual facial flying man/ure comes spouting out. Perhaps we are now gossiping about a harmless opinion.

Put simply, go away you odious human being

Reading his 'biff on the head topic' has shed a completely different light on him.

"Terrible man" and "odious" are names which are too nice for him. I believe he has posted racist remarks too.

However maybe Irish was correct in the title of this topic, in which case maybe we should be careful in our criticism of his comments.
Maybe he himself has had behavioral changes brought about by a Biff on the head.

Wow, great recovery story there mate. Hope she continues to grow from strength to strength. I've got a mate who went through something similar but it was a car accident and he's completely different.

A lot of people avoid him because of the mood swings and change in temperament. I still remember who he was as we were kids. It is challenging dealing with him but cannot even begin to comprehend how challenging it is with a life partner.

Well done

Ty MUDD for your kind words.
I have to say it isn't easy, but things could have been so much worse. I think maybe your friend has suffered a worse injury than she did.

That's the trouble with brain injuries though, they are all different and affect people differently.

Look at Schumacher, we can't be certain but I understand he can hardly talk and is apparently partly paralyzed. Possibly a shell of his former self. How must that be for Corinna and their two kids? Awful no doubt.

Then look what happened to María de Villota. She seemed to be making a good recovery, making a public appearnce just 4 months after her accident. Then she suddenly died a year later. Her death by cardiac arrest being attributed to the injuries she sustained at Duxford. I dread something similar happening to my wife. (I have to say my religious beliefs changed 4 years ago. Someone other than the medical profession is looking after her.)

My cousin died from horrific head injuries in a car crash when he was just 14. He would be in his 40s now.

You never can tell.

So 'Mr biff on the head MA' should apologise to everyone on this board for his thoughtless comments, and think before he says some of the things he does.
