A little bit of criticism is creeping in to the words coming from various countries, NOW, after decades of Israel being given free reign to do whatever it wants.

Just a few points on this with definitions to help!

Race is a social concept used to categorize humans into large and distinct populations or groups by anatomical, cultural, ethnic, genetic, geographical, historical, linguistic, religious, and/or social affiliation.

Of course Jews are a race.

Racism - the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race

Of course it's racist to say that Jews chase money.

No Christian are not a race because of genetics - religeon does not come into genetics. I'm not sure why you think that they would be.

The fact that Jews have had the same bloodlines for literally centuries would indicate this despite them not having a country for much of that time. Of course the Jewish are a race. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Arab's have an extremely broad genetic base and as such it's hard to trace the actual gene pool. It could be argued that the same has happened with Jewish people who are now spread throughout the world but they have taced the Jewish gene pool to the dismay of many Jewish people throughout the world.

I wouldnt consider Hindu a race...but its ok to distinguish that for Jews though based on the same principles.

For those of you arguing about race looking at the Wikipedia entry on the topic, I suggest you all read and try to comprehend the 2nd 3rd and 4th paragraphs.

It's painfully obvious that if following years of discussion scientists and scholars on the subject have been unable to come to an agreement on the concept of race, then arguing here what it does or doesn't involve is pretty pointless.

I don't know why anyone has a problem with it. The Jewish have been nailed for centuries on end and a lot of that is propaganda about chasing money. Still going on today. Don't get me wrong the situation in Gaza is abhorent but I'm surprised some of the stuff on here is a) so utterly ignorant and b) actually allowed on a public forum.

Nobody is nailing them...other than the obvious comments made by Chronic which anyone can see was not meant seriously.

I just dont consider them a race, no matter how much they say otherwise.
