Why would forster get motm, didn't make any special saves, all routine
Even Im thinking Giroud has come back looking decent. The injury may be the best thing that's ever happened to him. He looks far sharper and influencing games. Lets hope he can keep it up.
If it wasn't for Forster we would have won 3 or 4-0
Wish we could actually play well! Was very poor all over. The defense was better though. Much better with kos back and Monreal in preferred posstion. Martinez looking very good as well. Looking forward to debuchy return.
Giroud hasn't played many minutes, but he has always looked dangerous when he's on. his flick was great and his shots have been podolski-esque

One Dutch Philosophy manager trolled, one bigged up yet only one point seperates Man utd and Southampton, it was 9 points only 3 games ago. I hope we beat Southampton and move into third.

Only 1 and a half weeks and the gap is now gone from 9 points to just 1 and I thought it would be dreamland if we went into the game against Sunderland needing a win to go 3rd.
Giroud changed the game. I've underrated his impact in the past tbh fair play to him.
Welbeck(Outwide) Giroud and Sanogo(4-4-2) for when we play Stoke. Give Sanchez a rest ffs.
Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster on BBC Sport: "It is disappointing. We have matched them for 90 minutes but couldn't see the game out. It is hard enough 11 against 11 but with a man short it is so tough. We needed a bit of luck that we didn't get.
"We just need to keep believing and keep doing what we did in the first 10 games of the season."

I don't buy that, as much as Southampton defended well, they didn't attack well at all. Arsenal created the better chances even before they were down to 10 men
