I'm not sure which ones you mean to be honest Mudd, I'm assuming you don't mean all of them?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I mean the ones that are mysteriously arrested and have mysterious trials with mysterious sentences

Id go back to my earlier statement then Mudd, you can go down to court and watch it. Secret trials were vetoed by judges, only parts of it under strict criteria can be held in secret.

Just go down to Westminster court and sit in the gallery, I did it with a friend who works for a shipping company near victoria (he's stuck to that for a while, but I'm sure you can work out what I mean).

Any sentence given is also in the court records as well as remaining completely public and can be watched. We still absolutely have open justice, it's just that people wait for the press rather than going themselves.

The details of which we never find out....

It's like the thing today about Mi6 saying the bits they insisted be blacked out of the CIA report didn't contain British collusion in the mistreatment of prisoners......

How the fack does a normal person verify that if it's blacked out?

Same with the investigation into whether or not the government destroyed evidence of an elite páedo ring...

'We found no evidence that evidence was destroyed'

WHAAAAAAAT???

It basically just comes down to taking their word that if we knew the details of these trials, we'd be in danger.

Good to know that we are, in fact, not in danger.

That's different to what Mudd was referring to dot and I agree with that sentiment. My friend doesn't but it's hard to have an argument with him why as he can't say!

Sorry melton, i was just ranting a bit

Your comment above is a fair point - Those who actively wish to see these things for themselves, can.

But they will never receive media coverage if charges are dropped and, for example, the accused is completely innocent but was still plastered all over the media as a terrorist.

The media assume guilty until proven innocent.

No worries dot

They do I agree. The media tend to be reactionary like that. We do have them to thank as well though ( the decent side of the media at least) as they were pivotal in not allowing secret trials to take place.

Same with everything else really, there are pros and cons to a free press.

the only people who think that those are examples of terrorism are
1. Jihad supporters / justifiers
2. People 1,275,921 miles left of Ken Livingston
3. Some bloke named Simon in Cornwall who also thinks the sky is made of pink mustard.

Terrorists, freaks and the insane in other words.

Havent bothered reading all the comments but I can safely say that 99% of all terrorist activities all over the world are because of 1 religion. ISLAM.

It is the religion of violence and has never preached peace. Now waiting for that idiot Kung Fu Cantone to pop up any time

Moronic comment.
