lamela started the season brightly but he is just annoying now, not even talking about attacking, he keeps giving away the ball in dangerous areas and keeps giving away stupid fouls.

wtf is wrong with him.

whenever he is on the ball in our own half, we end up in trouble.

giving the ball away trying something is one thing, giving the ball away dwelling on it too long when passes are available is something different.

I agree ted when he passed the ball straight out of play for a throw it must had been someone else's fault!

The guy just isn't that good IMO

Hengy.... there are only 3 players on the pitch "who are good enough" (for the top half of the Prem):
Lloris, Vertongehn and Kane.
And expect two of those to leave in January.

I agree with the players but they aren't leaving in Jan!

Maybe summer time then they might except kane!

If there's blame to go around, I think Levy should get most of it.
The Bale money was not well spent.
And now the manager is supposed to fix the problem.

not sure how levy takes most of the blame…. unless we are assuming that levy bought all the players with the bale money… which most of us know he didnt (singlehandedly anyway)

Did you watch the game today, Chronic?
Were there more players that were "good enough"? Like Soldado?
Or is it that Lloris and Vertongehn aren't leaving?
Like they've already said so.

Other players not knowing what he's trying to do isn't because he's far superior to them and they aren't able to paint pictures like he does, it's because he spends forever on the ball yet doesn't think about what he's about to do!

yes i did.

oh you are talking on today's performance?

i thought you meant generally.

at least half the squad is the required standard for spurs. its the dross half that needs sorting out… and those members of the half that are good enough but have an attitude problem, that also need sorting out

Lamela reminds of a lad I used to play foltball with at school . He had unlimited skill but was always afraid to have a pop . I asked him why he didn't just do what comes natural ? He said he was afraid .

Spurs mate of mine reckons that the club spent such a massive amount of money on him and when he didn't meet expectation, they felt they needed a manager to get the most out of him. Step in Poch. He thinks his appointment was partly influenced by Lamela's underperformance.

Anyone else heard or buy this??

Nope

i don't buy it…. it might have been part of a reason.. but to hire a manager on that basis alone would be ridiculous

Don't buy it at all. Why would Poch get the best out of him, because theyre from the same country? Means nothing.
