Must be the FL's fault....
Jonty
It doesn't matter, he plays the guitar abit and buys fans pints
Well, at last count, Chelsea owed Abramovich 80 mil.
If you were around at beginning, Cellino paid wages, bills and some debts that GFH and Bates left behind.
By Cellino doing what he did, over all, he allowed LUFC to operate under it's own steam, in other words, to be self sufficient.
5 Mill off what Cellino owes GFH, not a bad move on his part, cuts down the amount owed to GFH.
Cellino said a while back he had 30mil working capital, which means anything that brings in an income goes back into club as running costs, this would include TV payments etc; but he's still trying to bring operating costs down by offloading some surplus players etc.
Cellino knows what he's doing, stop worrying your sad little bums over it, you'll give yourselves an hernia.
Is he charging Chelsea 8 per cent interest a year ???
Agreed the finances don't look great but the fact is people have different opinions, that's life. Unfortunately for you two people on here aren't going to change their opinion because of the relentless sh ite you two post slagging Cellino off!
How about just debating it rather than trying to start an argument? Your a right couple of miserable gets
Yeah but we beat Derby last week....
Mighty
Well come on debate
Tell us how this is great for the club when the owner is charging 16 times the base rate, when he says the club is debt free ???
You got sand in your ears mate ???
It's clearly not great for the club is it, but what's the alternative?
GFH still in charge? We wouldn't have a club to support (or slag off)
Bates still in charge raping the club for 10 years?
Or are you and Jonny going to get a looney tunes consortium together and buy the club?
There was nobody else prepared to match the cash that Cellino put up, Farnans group clearly couldn't.
Mighty
Is it right to charge the club 8% for loans, when we have the debt we have?
Cellino is no better than Bates, it's a sad, sorry state of affairs at this club.
Mighty
This a forum mate, to debate the club.
What you seem to be saying is, we can't do anything about it, so no point talking about it.
Let's just say how great Cellino because he's better than gfh
You know the owner can't be good when so many fans that think he is give 'what other options do we have?' As one of the top reasons!
You forgot to mention the meaty bits below.
"When asked how GFH could be owed more than £20m by Leeds, a GFH spokesman told the Mail on Sunday: ‘As a result of the poor financial situation which they inherited at the club, GFH extended funding of around £20m of cash between July 2012 to November 2013 to keep the club solvent, acquire new players, give new contracts to existing players, pay down existing debt and meet other day to day liabilities as they fell due when the club's revenues were insufficient to do this.’
It is not clear how and when this money was put into the club because the accounts don’t show such an injection".
A GFH spokesman told the Mail, so it must be true, yeah right....
Is this 8% figure correct?
16 times the base rate, or 8%, make your minds up.
Luvr, what does that have to do with the job Cellino is doing though?
Also of there really is £30million capital why do we need this investment of £20million. That working Capitol doesn't exist pal.
Luvr, do you know what the base rate is?

You not good at maths ???
Base rate is 0.5 %
Or a personal favourite HaveFaith, "would you rather have Bates"
But yes we did beat Derby last week and confidence is very high and we were apparantly going to brush aside Ipswich yesterday....even though we have only won about 5 away games in 3 years!
That finance report looks grim!
I think Cellino is a lot better than Bates, agreed 8% is high but at least he's shown intent with on the field investment in players, we've had relentless asset stripping by Bates for years with absolutely no investment into the team.
The fact is no multi billionaire oil Barron wants Leeds United so until somebody does then in my opinion Cellino's the best of a bad bunch.
I've spoken to both Bates and Cellino, admittedly only bumped into them both for 5 minutes when bumping into them both in town and Bates was arrogant and up his own ar se whereas Cellino came across as a genuine bloke with the best interests of the club at heart. Regardless of what anybody else says on here that's my opinion which isn't going to be swayed by some of the sh ite people write on here
Mighty
But will facts sway you ???
feel free to tell me HFL, the way LIW is talking, it's suppose to be 0.5%.
Working capital is the money generated by the club or business, then ploughed back in to meet running costs etc.
Cellino hasn't spent as much on transfers as he has received. I don't understand why people think he is splashing the cash?!
I'd have an arrogant pr ick of an owner if it meant he ran the club fairly and to be honest it makes zero difference if we see/hear from the owner if it means we are nothing but football focused.
Papers are all over us at the moment and this FL/Cellino ruling will effect the football.
From one idiot of an owner to the next.
Luvr, it's the interest rate set by the Bank of England as the minimum lending rate. It has been at a record low of 0.5% for a few years now.
Hence 8% interest is 16 times the base rate.
Nice of you to come in trying to ridicule again and just look daft.
So what now? What do people want to do? Im assuming this thread is a call to arms of some kind no?
Discussion is great, however the energy behind the vitriol (from my perspective) suggests there is a mutiny afoot at Elland road "Get Chico out!"
