I'm slightly miffed by some of the things Jose says and does now and then....
But I'm damned glad we've got him
----------------------------
Now that is a honest answer. I understand actually. Not that I would be happy with the same if it was my club but I do understand. Trying to justify everything he does like it some sort of masterplan is the reason why rival fans accuse Chelsea fans of having their heads up Jose's behind.

I'd be damned if I tried to engage you in any sort of discussion. Jsut get somewhere else to post your stupid smileys.
Is yesterdays loss part of the jose grand master plan then!!!
'Pellegrino' is only 3 pts away

City are a quality side, we have no right to be that far ahead of them
I don't think he worries too much about the media, his main hate I would imagine is player power. And I highly doubt he would start berating a player just for fun, I know this is something opposition fans love to think he does, but I haven't seen him do that yet.
The main point was in the way he handles his players, and as I have shown with how he has dealt with the Mata situation and Carvalho when he first came, he does it in a calculated way, not as some sort of mindless immature man that belittles players at will when things are not going his way like some paint the picture off.
I could imagine big trouble in Real Madrid, given the ego's of the players there. Casillas, Ramos and Ronaldo, and the way fans can easily turn on managers there. Casillas form afterwards hasn't been as good as it was before he was dropped, players can get dropped due to poor training form or attitude problems. That players that came in, Lopez and Varane, didn't do too badly at all.
Chelsea fans are not the one's saying Chelsea and Jose are unbeatable,or always right.
I wonder if Jose came out and slated Cahill for missing that crossed ball, would that help?
Yea,slag off your players, and raise moral,or spin, like the media nad fans want?
There are a lot of factors to consider. You can't stay consistent with how you treat different players in man management. That's just a very simplistic way of doing things and would end up in failure.
They didn't tbh. They did very well actually but both have suffered since because they were used by Mou as a tool for politics rather than football reasons. Thing is Casillas is finished mentally after the whole situation imo. It's not that he has lost his ability. His mind isn't right and he can't get to find his way back. Player power exists but he tried to go for players who havew acheived way more than he has and were bigger names than him and he lost. He could have handled the situation way better but he chose the only way he knew.
Of course he wouldn't do it just for fun but at the end of the day it is a very immature thing to do. His relationship with other managers shows the same. Remember him saying he wanted the Madrid job several times when Pelegrini was still in the job? If that doesn't scream immaturity to you then I am done here! Most disgusting thing I have seen a manager do.

The funny thing is I agree with you here and I think he does exactly that! He knows no other way.

Well I guess we have to disagree on what shows immaturity. You will say to plant a seed blah blah blah but at the end of the day, he showed incredible disrespect for Pelegrini! You don't disrespect your fellow pro like that if you are mature. It's like the idiot in the bar who thinks putting down other guys in front of the women is the only way to get laid. It's incredible you would think otherwise!
Also that is a load of crap about Casillas. He isn't finished because of being dropped. That is such a simplistic way to think!
Who else have the players EVER turned on like that at Madrid even with much much worse results? What makes you think they will do so with Anceloti?

No that is not what he said. I am talking about the end of the season when he had won the CL and Pelegrini was under pressure from not winning the title. I'll try to find a link.

You may be right here tbh, only certain managers will have the courage to take on some of the player powers at RM, and in the end they were along with the fans and board too powerful for him. I don't see other managers doing that in the game today, probably Simeone, but that appointment won't happen.
The board sacked Pellegrini after he finished with record points for RM as soon as the chance to sign Mourinho arose. Quite disrespectful or immature some would say, i'd say that's just football business. They sacked Capello 11 days after he won the La Liga for them. Same thing applies. Football is not exactly the Civil Service. Pretty cut throat.

Honestly, do you guys find a guy over 50 years old behaving like him acceptable?

Yes
So I will be OK to join your gang then.
Its like talking to a wall when it comes to Chelsea fans and Mourinho.

Talking to Liverpool fans is like talking to a clown. A joke to look and speak at, can't take anything they say seriously.
Easy to defend ain't it Brendan?
Anyone can set up a team to play like that
Chelsea fans and pool fans have been at it since the Slippy G game after which Brendan said it easy to defend.
Pool fans and Spûds have been at it since Brendan said they should be challengers last season.
I enjoy watching them rip each other apart<apart>
Pool fans secretly want Jose to manage them
Without him they could have won the league

A decade on and they still fool for it.
