I honestly think it'll be a tough game regardless of Liverpool's current form. You guys often up your game against us regardless. Just hope we show the desire to win as much too. I'm sure LVG will implement this into his team by Sunday.

My worry, as it has been all season, is our problems in scoring goals. Obviously with losing Suarez and not having Sturridge we needed a striker and Balotelli hasn't worked. Lambert was only bought as a backup striker and it's Lambert we have to rely on. We're not going to score many goals with him in the side as the players around him, aren't suited to the type of game, we need to play with Lambert up top. The likes of Coutinho need runners behind defences but he's not getting that.

For me, it will be great if you go with the 3-5-2 again. I feel we should do what Southampton did and get at you early, make your defence nervous but we need to score a couple and then sit on it. A difficult ask with our goalscoring issues.

I'm a very optimistic fan and always predict a win against any side but I'm not confident for Sunday.

Jamie Carragher looked devastated but gave us credit to. We have to many injuries. We probably need to buy 5 players or get players out of loan back.

The problem you have is that you're weak at the back and that's where you keep getting repeated injuries. It's got to the stage now where it can't go on like that, these players can't be relied on and you need to sell and get more reliable defenders in.

We had to do it with Agger, even though on his day he was a very good defender.

We can't keep bemoaning our luck with injuries, because it's the same players who keep getting injured. Relying on them is just bad planning.

He's correct though. although I am wondering whether he meant to say Southampton are a better side than Arsenal and United or better on the day, I'm going for better on the day.

6 wins home 3 drews and 1 away win this round of fixtures. Man utd only side to win away.
