Floyd will just put up a load of barriers to make the fight not happen, and when Manny agrees t those, he'll say oh, well Manny has to fight blindfolded with one arm tied behind his back

Floyd is the biggest ducker in boxing history.

He won't fight Manny. All this talk about a possible May 2nd fight is nothing more than a publicity stunt by Floyd to fool the public into thinking this fight might happen.

Floyd Mayweather has absolutely no intention whatsoever of stepping into a boxing ring with Manny Pacquiao.

Fact.

Whilst I don't agree with D4's narrative that Mayweather has been the only reason the fight hasn't happened, I do agree that it's still no closer to happening now than it was years ago.

Manny is (quite rightly too IMO) going to want around 40-50 percent of the cut and I can't see floyd giving that up.

Manny has stated he would do the fight for free.

He offered Floyd the chance for them to fight with all proceeds going to charity.

Don't be silly, will be Mannys biggest payday.
Boxers don't fight for free, maybe he'll donate a small percentage of his earnings but not all of it.

So why not do his other fights for charity??? Another thing said by a boxer to make them sound better than they are.

No way, no how does Manny accept less than 40 percent of all proceeds.

My point is simply that Floyd has been ducking Manny for over five years.

I don't see why that would change. If I'm wrong and the fight happens then I will happily issue an apology to Floyd on this site.

I'm 99.9 % sure I won't have to though.

posted on 16/12/14

And most other peoples point is Manny has also been ducking Floyd for 5 years. They're both as bad as each other when it comes to stating this bullcrap.

I've said it before but I reckon Manny and Floyd will happen in Floyd's 51st fight.

How many 'vacations' has Pacquaio had from boxing?

Somebody post that rant from Floyd when he says he is a scared coward:D

I've said before you've got some good points D4. Problem is that a lot of it gets lost in between all the Manny Love/Obsession.

Floyd has ducked Manny, Manny has ducked Floyd. Pair of them are a disgrace for letting a bout that could have kicked off another massive rise in boxings popularity.
In a perfect world, the fight would be signed and noone would watch so other boxers would know to make these fights happen when they're in their prime. Unfortunately that won't happen.

How has Manny ducked Floyd ??

Manny has only ever said he wants this fight. He's never wavered from that.

Manny has issued several challenges to Floyd. Manny has even gone as far as calling Floyd a coward for ducking him.

What more can Manny do to make this fight happen ?

By comparison whenever Floyd gets asked about this fight he either becomes evasive or downright aggressive.

Floyd simply doesn't want to talk about the fight and he's even admitted to being a coward. In Floyd's own words "at least I'm a rich scared coward".

If this fight doesn't happen it will be purely because Floyd didn't want it to. Floyd has so much power in boxing he could make this fight happen tomorrow with a click of a finger if he really wanted.

Take the drug tests and stop pretending he's afraid of needles. Simple........

What i'd like to see is the pair of them retire after devastating defeats. Both go flat broke and come out wishing they'd made the fight when it was relevant.

It's all pants Mr C (just like the ref last night )
Don't think either of them really want the fight yet but both know if one mentions the other then it makes the papers.

Although we do know Mayweather likes messing with the fans so he might face him so he doesn't have to face Khan........
