Why, he plays in same position as Eriksen, Sterling, Miralles...
Most of Eriksen's goals have been crucial for us as well either a winner or qualiser
Some weird choices and exclusions for what classes as a midfielder here.

It's a different system. Sanchez can play upfront, Eriksen can play CM. Different players.
So because Sanchez CAN play upfront, yet plays in the same role as Eriksen, you've discounted him??
Mirallas can play upfront too has done in the past.
Ramsey has 9 in 2014 in all competitions and probably played less than all the others
So Sanchez is on 9 great... Still less than 12 though so irrelevant

Well it's not considering he's been in England for only half a season.
But still less than 12 right?
We're not really arguing that Eriksen has 12 goals. That's sort of like.......obvious.
But there's 5 on the list. So by virtue of goals to games played, he should be on the list.
Sanchez has 14. in the league he has 9. the main op is showingstats for all competitons not just the league

Not really a big deal though is it buddy, think the whole point of the article is to say how important Eriksen is to Spurs!
Think it's pretty obvious as well that Sanchez is a quality player and if the Op wanted to highlight this player he would of done so!
I know lets compare Ozil and Eriksen......yeah thought so

He's hugely important, imo. or Spurs to progress they need to keep hold of him and Lloris.
Yep he's massive for us and really coming into some good form now!
We need to start keeping our better players and building the team up again as it's been totally ripped apart and most of the quality sold!
Will be a interesting summer to see if levy has learnt by his mistakes or not!
Problem with this is given most teams now play a variation on 4-2-3-1 which are midfielders? It seems that if you are the kind of creative player who’d have once played in the middle of a 4-4-2 and now play in one of the front three attacking midfield roles you count (e.g Eriksen, Oscar)but if you’re seen as more of what would one be seen as a winger (Hazard, Sanchez, Robben)in a 4-4-2 or a ‘wide striker’ like Anelka used to be for us in a 4-3-3 then you don’t count despite the fact you’re playing the same position.
Stats. Bloody stats.
But why remove penalties?
