Can't see the need they're all worldies.

We have the Welsh Xavi, world class Lovren the gamble on Balotelli is working a treat need I go on?

Hopefully they see the need for 2 or 3 ready made talents...

Don't blame the signings...blame the tactics. Balotelli and Lovren were very impressive at their previous clubs before joining. Mignonet, Toure, Sakho, Lovren, Manquillo, Moreno...all signed by the club! Are they bad defenders, or are we bad defensively. Blaming our recruitment policy is hiding away our poor defensive tactics!

come on now, some of the performances have been but some of the money spent has also been poor

I think the tactics have a huge part in this

we over paid for a few players who aren't worth the money though

3rd variable is age - some of these kids may need 2-3 years to really come into peak years.

its a combination

Once Studge is back Balo will start knocking them in regularly

he's a victim of the system

He's a victim of being a lazy bastárd!

Look at when Sterling rounded DeGea and the shot was saved, Balotelli was moaning but he didn't break his neck to get up with play to help him out!

Balo hasn't been at all lazy since he's arrived

at all

no

lazy cliche

he's been shiite (no thanks to the idiotic tactics), but he's busted a gut as much as anyone

what next?

Suarez never performs in big games?
Studge is too selfish?

lets ask the Mancs, they tell us what to think.

Really, i must be attending games in an alternate universe then!

Fairly sure city was one of Balotelli's previous CLUBS and if you look at his scoring at AC most of his goals where Peno's and free kicks!

Fairly sure that when someone types "Balotelli and Lovren were very impressive at their previous clubs", it goes without saying that the word "respective" doesnt need to be added.
Then again, twαts like you do make you rethink something youd normally consider common sense.

Think you'll find that's you'd and you have the cheek to have ago at other people!

I think the general consensus on Balotelli (from Liverpool fans) would not be that Balotelli busts a gut!

I was not aware the grammar police was out this evening.

But I do agree that Balotelli hardly busts a gut.
Having said that, he does seem to play better with someone around him. The only 2 times he looked like a half decent player on sunday was when he had a player around him and played a one two held the ball up and laid it off (Sterling i think it was both times)

posted on 16/12/14

I think it's a bit of both. My opinion is that a lot of the players we signed knew they were the big men in the team. Lovren, Allen, Henderson, Mig, Moreno to some extend all knew they had to put 100% in every week. I feel a lot of LFC players let others do the work for them.

Yet the understanding of words police are!

Balotelli was not impressive at city, AC or inter for that matter of fact. Yes he has talent but he's lazy and his signing has been a mitigated disaster!

I agree with that but is that good enough? The fact he can't or isn't willing to adapt his game to the team isn't what we need.

He looked at his best vs Spurs and that was because Sturridge was doing all the work!

It certainly was for the first 2 and half months he was here

Everyone thought he'd be lazy but show brilliance when he was bothered - and were shocked the opposite was happening

But alas, we need scapegoats

Give it a couple more bad results and he'll have been a slug since the first week who undermined our season with his poor attitude (strangely enough that never appeared either)

I love a good history rewrite when it suits the doomongers

What next? Gerrard can't play deep (despite leading our title challenge from deep last season)
