That's the question, Topgeezah, but I think signing Bale would just allow us to play a system that has two wingers more effectively because Di Maria is the only winger we have at the level we need.

I think the Coentrao ship has sailed and is nothing more than rumours.

Bale would add pace and that's the missing ingredient at Utd I feel. They'd only not have to take up the option on Falcao and that's the wages sorted. Mata could quite easily leave couldn't he? Or play Rooney as a 9 as RvP ain't getting any younger.

I know it's fun to joke about Ozil but the fact they were able to spend that much money and attract that calibre of player (let's look at his standing in the game at the time he was signed for Arsenal) shows Arsenal as a club are in a great position when it comes to attracting players.

Robbing, yeah there are quite few combinations that could potentially work.

It all really depends on the formation we plan to go with. For arguments sake, let's say we want to continue with the diamond if we got him, there are a few positions and roles Bale could fill - be it behind the two strikers or even as one of the strikers.

I don't see us getting him any time soon anyway. But I reckon we might do in a few years as there seems to be a bit of an obsession with Bale at United.

Welsh left winger. I could see him going to Utd for sure and maybe even this summer dependant on a few things. No one would have said that they would have sold Di Maria and Ozil in the past couple of years really but they did.

I can very much see Bale becoming a striker anyway or getting a fair few minutes there in his career. I really don't think Utd will be spending the money on Falcao if they get into the CL next season.

It would be facking funny if this was finally the season Spurs pipped Arsenal to fourth.
