Russell sounds like he's having another good game. He's in great form.

We have had more shpts on target in the first half than in the previous 4 games combined.

Well I suppose it doesn't matter who's in the team if we're winning.

Can't argue with that, Larry

Well to be fair you can. I mean could we be winning by more for instance? That's my worry

We let slip a 2 goal lead against Brum last season as well.

Spart, thought that as well! 😨

Just an observation but I think we look much better when its Hughes plus 1 in midfield. Don't mind if it's bryson or Jeff so long as Will is there.

For example, if we still had Steve Howard (the legend, the prodigy, the icon) we'd surely winning by 5 or 6 now.

Emile on the bench, Larry -- probably come on when Eidur is spent!

Ok. Just remembered Heskey plays for Bolton not Blackburn.

Disagree it matters when we're winning too, we have to create a Premiership team, beating Birmingham is different to creating an automatic promotion winning side IMHO.

Not sure about Hughes Peeder, but possibly benefits from having Eustace behind him to hold his hand a bit.

All right, all right - it was only a phrase to appease Larry.

From a philosophical point of view, if we're winning then there's no need to build a perm team as by definition we'd be winning in the prem too.

Or we could build a perm team. Keegan style.

What's the score?

Can't see Hughesy with a perm

If we're winning consistently Larry that is a valid point, this is one game gainst mid to lower table opposition.

Leicester kept on winning last season, but still couldn't build a Premiership team (at the time of writing).

sounds like we are back to what we do best...

The Eust back in, love you Omar but we are a lot harder to beat when he's in there!
Experience and know how is what we need...

Hughesy pulling the strings, again he's the first name on my teamsheet. It has to be between Jeff and Bryso for the other spot!

Lastly, Johnny doing his thing, what a player
