Well he wouldn't, because as soon as the men were supposed to go over the top you'd just be sat there going on about how soldiers were much more sturdy in the Crimean war
Sorry Ssndy
Only joking, Very funny comment.
I think Spurs should just throw in the towel against United and Chelsea and have a mid-season break. FFS some supporters.

If Chelsea or United get that sort of invitation they have forwards who can destroy us.

I'd like to think we'll step it up against bigger and better opposition. So when Man United come to us we'll start pressing and getting at them, and putting in a shift.
We looked so sloppy yesterday, and it's been a trend with away games to lesser opponents. The best away performances have been the ones we've not got 3 points from, ironically enough.
At home against bigger opposition I think we'll turn it on, like we did against Everton.
Should be a good game.

Yes I've written of the Chelsea game... We aren't good enough to beat or even draw with them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ridiculous comment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't they just beat us 3-0 without breaking a sweat?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Football doesn't work like this. Surely you know that.
We can beat Man U
Chelsea I cannot see us taking more than a point if that. Man U are not very good though

All fair points I feel.
Only the most deluded of our fans fail to see we're in a false position (and there are lots of these fans). Tomorrow is interesting because we wont get anything from this game without actually playing well.
We are picking up points against the "lesser sides" but the only recent performance to shout about was Newcastle in the cup. Shades of AVB here I feel, where the wheels could fall off at anytime.
There are 5 or so good players in this team and we have a solid foundation to build on here. I'll only start realistically thinking about trophies, or even a top 4 challenge, if Levy backs MP in the January window.
Overall I would say we are doing just about average.
To elaborate here, and demonstrate and I'm not completely negative - if we do sign 3 or so good players (with premiership experience I hope) we could have rather a good season
All eyes on Levy...
I just don't possibly see how we can challenge for anything with the likes of Fazio and Rose in the side.
