Personally I wouldn't be happy with this. Andros and Lennon get a lot of stick but I don't see how this would strengthen us? Yes we need a striker but Berahino is not proven enough
Poor deal unless we have another winger coming in.
We need one of those 2 to stay, without we lose the option of a 'natural' width (if Townsend can be trained to stay wide, did alright vs Chelsea though)
Also not sure how that would leave our balance of English players in the squad to fill the quota?
2 full England internationals at decent ages for an unproven one who hasn't been great for a fair part of this season. Not for me.
Selling Lennon (£7-10m?) and Townsend (£15m?) wouldn't be far off what Brom seem to be asking for Berhino, but isn't a deal I'd take in Jan or what I'd pay for him if it was my money.

I would rather we kept Townsend he is still young enough to be trained to keep wide and play how poch wants him too. Sadly I think Lennon's time is coming to an end along with Ade, Capoue, Kaboul and Naughton. It's about time we trim the squad but we have to add quality aswell, Berahino for me I can see a player who can be the next Defoe if he hits his full potential even though he had a cracking start to the season he didn't score in 12 games.
Townsend can be such a frustrating player though, clearly has all the potential but needs some proper coaching on what his role is and how to play to his strengths.
Would keep him if he's happy with the game time he's getting, he's got to be pretty confident of displacing Lamela at some point if performances don't step up.
He works hard when he is playing, just not sure if he's following the wrong instructions or not following them at all. But recently has looked better so hoping it's coming together.
Worth giving a bit more time to. Lennon needs a move for his own sake, sure a lot of us have been in jobs for 7-8 years or so, and he just looks like I have after that time, comfortable. Needs a move to get some desire back.

Agree with Townsend he also needs to learn when to shoot and when to pass, he seems to have a shoot on sight policy which is so frustrating, for every one of his 50 shots he most likely gets 2 on target. He also needs to stop with his stupid cruyft turn.. Yes Lennon's time is now up he done so well in his first 2 seasons with us but got caught out its a shame but he has to realise he can go to someone like stoke or west brom and play every week, rather than not even making the bench in some squad.
West Brom would be getting the better deal. I don't rate Townsend or Lennon as big club players, but at a lower level like West Brom, they'd be huge assets. A bit like Bolasie and Puncheon for Palace.

I would like that bolasie at Tottenham as a winger I think he's a very good player.

Disagree with someone like Bolasie.
He's got drive and playing really well for Palace, but really wouldn't suit us from what I've seen.
He looks a head down and go for it kind of guy.....we have that in Townsend already.
Look at how Chadli is playing and that's what we need to be looking for. Decent skill and work rate, can work the line, but also good passer and in the build up play.
It's the (hate this cliche) footballing brain side of it as well that we need for the way we set up.
Hopefullt that's part of what this Mitchell fella is bringing to the party.

Dont want to lose either Lennon on Townsend.
Both very valuable squad members, offering pace and direct attacking.
Lennon is also very experienced, our most senior pro at the club and works very hard. Even when not at his attacking best he always puts in a shift and all of these things cannot be underestimated.

One of them involved in a deal : perhaps.
But your most senior and best prospect flank speedboats together : doubt it.
Would bite their hands off for us paying 10 mil and giving then Lennon but Townsend I'm not sure. I think it's to early to be getting rid of a talent like Townsend who could be really good within time. How about we offer then Lennon and Adebayor, yes please
The reason Berahino might not be celebrating goals is that he has more important things on his mind like learning he was being charged with drink driving. Daniel Levy does not do business in the press so this is all speculation. Some they will get right, most they wont. Personally, I cant see Poch letting AT go, Lennon yes, AT no (unless DL stepped in which I don't think he would attempt to at this time).

I personally don't really rate Beharino. He seems to have a big attitude problem and is an OK player but would be like signing another JD for me.
Benteke has to be the priority.

For one maybe and some money, but both would leave us short on the wings.
Would definitely deal if we could exchange Lennon + money for Berahino.
