They've just become massivley inconsistant these days. He's let Stoke get away with loads, guarantee as soon as we make a half bad challenge he will book our player.

Arsenal never get protection from the refs, NEVER

posted on 11/1/15

A ref has a perfect game getting every decision correct and even a penalty for Arsenal. The whole league votes and he gets a 3/10.

maybe link it to the PL fantasy football.

You would AVERAGE the score, so if Man U fans gave 10 and the opposition the average is 5, not 7 or 8.

There should be independent panel rating Refs on their performance and the best refs to be awarded trophy in the end..The poor ones to be relegated to Championship..similar to football team promotion and relegation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That independent panel to include ex-refs, players and fans.

Although its a little unfair to dump our worst refs on the championship
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also the pay slip could be similar to La Liga top refs gets top salaries and good reputation..etc The poor refs disappear into abyss of pub football.
This could also be opportunity for good fair refs in lower league to get promotion.Basically, competition should drive the performance up.

So great having Sanchez in our side. The one player who can make a difference in the final third, out of his own ability. Not had a player like that since Henry

----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what you are saying is if a million United fans gave 10 and one Hull fan gave 0 it would average at 5??

Ref gives a penalty, half the fans give him 10 the other give him zero regardless of the rest of his performance and whether the decision was correct.
So a ref getting every decision correct could end up with 5/10, whereas a ref who makes a load of mistakes in favour of Man Utd would end up with 7 or 8.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How would they get 7 or 8?

Fans would register and only be allowed 1 vote. Then take the average from the 2 sets of fans votes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

United have more fans though...

Let's assume 70% of a group are Mancs.

70x10 + 30x0 = 650

Average rating 7.0

So refs get rewarded for favouring the biggers teams.

yep, we need a player like that, Cesc wouldn't have done that for us though

TBH, there are a number of players out there that are having a great game today

Honestly, fans voting on refs performances as a way to improve the refs skills is one if the daftest ideas I've heard

At the start of today's match, are goal difference was 10 worse than Southampton's.

Let's push on in the second half and cut that down a little
