I believe that's true Ivan.
Headlines today say Ronny is ready to clear out the deadwood to pave the way for new signings. When you actually read Ronny's quotes in islolation it reads as if he's ready to clear out the deadwood to cut the wage bill. Full stop.

I would not be surprised if Celtic don't make a signing in this window. You've got a fairly bloated squad as it is.
I think there might be one or two but I'm prepared to be completely underwhelmed. I certainly don't expect Armstrong to be one of them.
Our movement in the window is vital this summer in terms of where we want to be.
The players we have just now are good enough for a treble but if we want to try advance in Europe then we need 2 quality signings

We get linked with an awful lot of players but most of the signings we make come out of the blue.

What treble nnh?

He must mean the League Cup, Scottish Cup and Europa League.
The Dandies have got the Premiership sown up now apparently.

...........
Top of the league if we win our 2 games in hand
Semi final of the LC against an inferior opponent
5th round of the Scottish cup against an average side
I'd say I have every reason to be optimistic
Top of the league if we win our 2 games in hand

And if Jennifer Lawrence comes to Dundee and makes an agreement with my wife I'll get to pump her.
There is no guarantee you'll win those games given the way you've performed this season.
Semi final of the LC against an inferior opponent

Celtic have had problems with winning at Hampden in the recent past in the league cup. You've also got a recent history of being knocked out by lower league clubs.
And if you get through, you'll play either the team at the top of the league or a team that beat you in your last encounter with them.

Far too early in the competition to be predicting you'll win it.
I'm certain we are the best team in the country, however I don't feel overly confident about any game. We don't score enough goals to be entirely certain of winning any game, including against Rangers.
Ivan, who do you want to win the old firm semi final?
how funny would it be if celtic pounded us for 90 mins but couldn't score, then Rangers scored an injury time winner via a Mohsni handball from an offside position.
Dennis
It'll be entirely dependent on our score to be honest.
If we beat Aberdeen, I'll be hoping for a Rangers win because it'll give us the best chance of winning the trophy.
If Aberdeen win, I suppose I'd prefer Celtic to win because I'd rather Celtic won the cup than Aberdeen.
For the site, the best result would be a narrow Celtic win, in that they can be happy they won and you can be happy your team put up a good fight. However, for meltdowns and general mirth, a Rangers win would be pretty good value for the site.
Ivan
I reckon there would be a few taking heiders off the Erskine bridge if Rangers won
Top of the league if we win our 2 games in hand

The difference is one of them is a very high possibility, the other is mere fantasy.

Yes, under Lennon we have struggled in the past, however our record in the cup so far is:
Played 3, won 3, scored 13, conceded 0. No struggling there
And if you get through, you'll play either the team at the top of the league or a team that beat you in your last encounter with them.
That'll be the teams where the record so far is:
Played 4, won 3, drew 0, lost 1, scored 11, conceded 4.
We've also had a man sent off in one of those games and had a goal chopped off incorrectly.
Glad to be of help
Can you imagine if we won by a dodgy decision?
