23 point margin i called 28 here with SARS and called 21 point margin on superbru
You'll be racking up the points
On the game, on the evidence of what i saw have seen here it's gonna be very tough next week against france. But at least we will have Sexton back which is VITAL
And having to face England and Wales later in the competition... England looking great with all those injuries... Well. I'm not confident.
7 point margin. But i knew in my bones that the Scots were gonna challenge. i genuinely thought they had a good chance here.
So no trys. Having watched that i feel more confident next week. We will have a bunch of changes in our side.Sexton, Cian Healy.. Hopefully O'Brian will be back his hammy looked ok. seemed to be just a strain not a tear.
So that's it. the weekend is over. I expect the fantasy game will be updated soon.
Gutted by that defeat, but delighted with the manner in which we played. At last, a coach who plays the way the players can. Hogg was a standout, and didn't I tell you all about Russell. That boy is going to be great.
Line out worked very well early on and how disappointing to give points away from stealing their line out. Mind you France rescued the situation well by wrapping up the isolated Cowan.
Bringing Big Jim on during the sin binning was inspired. Thought he was awesome in that period.
I said at the start that we'd end up 5th, but a much stronger 5th than recent years. I think last night pretty much backs that up, but a wee shock next weekend wouldn't surprise me.
Ye Show. There are a lot of positives to be taken from that game mate. Not least, had your discipline been a tad better you might well have won. Or that intercept that Vicer went for... finger tips- 1 inch away from a match winner. Those are the breaks i guess. But ignoring the score line there was very little between the sides.
World Rugby have requested a report on George north. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him sidelined for a few weeks. Someone in the welsh camp is gonna get a slap on the wrist too for allowing him to stay on the pitch.

I think that gives Gatland his excuse to appease the Welsh by bringing in Liam Williams.
There should be some others dropped as well. Shocking that Joseph was missed by Biggar, North AND Webb, and all within 5 metres of their own line. For that alone, they deserved to lose.
Funnily enough, I thought Visser was our poorest player and the missed interception showed it. OK, it was telegraphed, but he put us in a position where we SHOULD have conceded a try when he missed it. Didn't do that much going forward either.
Tommy Seymour is a much better exponent of the intercept. Better at picking the right one.
Visser (so thats how you spell it!)
He went for it. Had he taken that intercept he would have romped in under the posts and he would usurped Wallace and Bruce as the all time Scottish heros. hahahah But as he cocked it up, he's the bad guy. ANd indeed the French butchered the opportunity and it led to the penalty. That's how it goes sometimes.
Visser has not recaptured the form of a couple of years ago in the pro12. And has never shown that form at international level. Remember when he got his first cap, we were thinking here that e was going to tear the defenses apart. But his lack of impact is a great illustration of the massive leap in intensity there is between the pro12 and international rugby.
Jaysus but the welsh were trying to kill each other on friday. First Biggar got headbutted by Jenkins then North. Maybe that was Gatland's tactic the the Head butters were just missing the English lads.
Didn't see the Irish game. Were you impressed enough to think you're going to win it?

Thought that would be it when I saw the score. Never fear, with guys like that to come back, you will no doubt get better.
Wish we had strength in depth like that.
Still moderately hopeful for next weekend. If Cotter has worked Gatland out, then we might just be OK. More hope than expectation TBH, but a helluva lot more hope than recent years.
