Always liked him, still do, hes big strong quick and comfortable on the ball with the ability to burst past players with ease in congested central areas which few players possess.
Argue or debate about it and have opinions?

I would say argue as people argued that Moyes should have signed Dembele instead of Fellani. I do remember him having an awesome game against us that season I think for Fulham? Or it might have been the season before.
But then again the season before when we lost to Everton in the opening game Fellani was a BEAST against us as well.
I can't remember him playing for quite a while, so can anyone remember how mobile he is?
There are always flavour of the month players we HAVE to sign. As you say, usually after they have played well against us.
If someone asked us to swap Fellaini for Dembele, I would tell them to stick it.
90%? Really? I remember it being Robb...
I'd swap Fellaini for Dembele in a heartbeat, he's a better midfielder. He seems to do just enough, he wins the ball deep, takes on a couple of players then when he gets near the box, lay it off for someone else to do something with.
In a three man midfield he'd be fine, he could break play up and quickly get his team up the pitch, anything more than that either isn't in his skill range or he just can't be ars.ed to do it.
He isn't a defensive midfielder imo. Shouldn't be played so deep for Spurs, has such good drive which isn't being utilised.
Can't get into Tottenham's team. Yeah, let's buy him.
The same things were said about Fellaini when he was winning balls in the air against Carrick in a makeshift defence.
Sign him up they said, when he was signed they turned on him. Football fans eh
United fans have an annoying habit of suggesting we sign a certain player after they've had a good game against us.
Us cynics call it "sign-the-oppositions-best-player syndrome".
Not the most imaginative name for it, but it explains it well.

Especially you
I remember prople onere saying that Sandro and MAYBE Dembele(can't emember fully) was better than Modric.

It's funny you say that given that you didn't particularly rate Bale and Modric.
Dembele has the talent to be a huge star at United but it's his attitude that's the problem. I saw a few weeks back that spurs had to tell him that real Madrid were interested in signing him to get him playing well.
Back when he was at Fulham I wanted us to sign him but he's shown he's not got the mental strength to make the step up.
Certainly wouldn't swap him for fellaini who whatever you think of him has a great attitude and is a team player as seen when he sprinted over to Adnan after scoring.
You always bring this up SLM, I certainly can't remember anyone saying anything close. Possibly better suited for what we needed at the time.
To me, Dembele is a YouTube player... People remember the occasional bursting run and wonder goals.
I watch alot of Spurs games with my cockney mate and Dembele is so hit and miss.
Sandro where is he now?
I always rated Modric and Bale
Sandro was great until his injury. Just the kind of tenacity we have lacked
Needs to improve his mentality and grow some balls before he gets the chance to play for a bigger club than Spurs.
Listened to Les Ferdinand a few weeks ago talking about Dembele, and he was saying that the guy has all the ability in the world to be a top class player, but always does just enough to get by, rather than push himself to be a standout.

He's certainly good at pulling scary faces.
To be honest, there are some absolute morons on this forum. Speaking of Bale, I remember when some on here genuinely didn't want him. Reasons were varied. Overrated etc.
"Nani is better" was my favourite reason, though.

I believe Valencia was the more common comparison. Lines like "one trick pony" were used a lot on this board too.
Somebody posted a "Bale vs Valencia" article and some of the responses were laughable looking back.

And that was exactly the case with Dembele.
He always plays well against us. Funnily enough in any game I have seen him in other than playing us, he looks totally average.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. There's still some people now who think that all Bale has is pace.
I wonder where Bale would be now, if Spurs had not took the chance and played him on the wing.
He really was an atrocious left back.
