Rodgers is a managerial novice compared to those around him in the league.
Shows that he can get things right, yeah he might have persevered with Balotelli and the one up front tactic for too long, but it's coming together quite surely now.
There will be difficult games ahead but I hope those are few and far between. We can really only afford to lose two more games in the quest for top four.

We lost the battle (last season's title race) but we could win the war (domination over a few seasons).
One of the biggest decisions Rodgers needs to make is regarding Emre Can.
Personally I think he is wasted there at RCB.
We need another centre back, who can play the ball - in that order.
Making Can flit between centre back and central midfield over the long term will stunt his development as he is a natural centre-mid.

It does sound a bit bitter especially when the opposition manager comes out and says it probably wasn't a penalty that they were awarded.
And of course we can't all draw Sheffield united to play twice in the league cup.
Yes Rodgers is building a really good squad, greatness will depend on the players mentalities, but certainly things are heading very much in the right direction.
For a young manager - which rodgers is, has practically 25 years left in him as manager, he has shown he can adapt. He will continue to do this, but with experience will adapt quicker to situations.
Very happy with his tenure.

The league table shows what has happened to date - Things that have already happened up until now.
Thereby the fact is the table shows half a dozen teams have accumulated more points than liverpool up until now.
Whether they are doing better is debatable seeing as we've actually made up a lot of points on the top four positions from early December.
As far as the form guide goes, there are not half a dozen teams above us on that - that's for sure.
Here's an opinion that I'm going to dress up as a fact - Spurs will never finish top four again.
