Plus he has a good shot on him and a eye for goal.
Good player.

Have to say I wasn't over excited by him last season, thought he was a good player but since the WC he's just gone up a level and potentially become a superstar.
and potentially CAN become a superstar.

Really like Bentaleb - very tidy player. He likes playing the ball forward and for such a young player keeps possession very well. Also seems to have a good attitude. Spurs seem to have quite a few good young players coming through.
Nabil is getting better and better with more experience, all of the trips with Algeria are helping us massively in making him more cultured with the pace of games. He is also becoming a more mature less self centred player. I remember the Nabil who would be unfairly shouting at teammates, very temperamental always throwing a strop or getting a red card.
I like the fact he can play anywhere across the midfield very versatile and athletic.

look like modric
Spurs lost to Leicester with a reserve side out. If they had out out the first team against Leicester no way would they have lost.
Now that Nabil is back from the Acon he will become more and more important I feel. Such a good prospect! As for Dier, he impressed me with his forward passing to attackers today.
Early days but as we have such a young side they will make the odd mistake on the way like Rose did so lets try not to be too harsh on them if it goes Pete Tong.
Nabil Bentaleb = NEW MODRIC + goals
Bentaleb is a very good talent. He has been passed over because of Kane's form, but that's a very impressive find from the youth set-up. I still see a Championship player when I look at Mason. But hardwork can mask your flaws a lot. The guy's engine is incredible.
I am with hengy last season I thought Bentaleb was ok as a player but this season he really has moved on. His international duties have probably helped him grow up a lot he was my MOTM today without a doubt and thats not taking any credit away from the other players they all half killed themselves for the cause today

I hope he develops more but, although he hasn't exactly caught my eye, he's clearly the perfect foil or fit for Bentaleb, and the sum of their parts just blew away Arsenal's three-man midfield. The future's bright

In one year he has gone from youth team player, to first team debut, then first team regular, international player and then played at two major international tournaments including the World Cup
Is there a player in history that's had a more meteoric rise in 13 months?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When you put it like that...It really has been a great rise and all very quickly. I'm glad he's coped.
Nabil got tarred with Sherwood's brush last season - because he put him In the side he was seen as Sherwood's pet by the fickler element of our support, totally ignoring his talent.
Showed what a good little player he is today, and still learning his trade too. We were excellent as a unit across the park today without the ball, consistently looked dangerous with it and the only gripe from anyone is that we should have scored more!
Lamela put in a good shift, worked hard and was very busy, but that was a typical attacking performance from him today - all fur coat, no knickers. As per usual, he waits too long to make decisions, and always seems to want an extra touch. It's really frustrating to watch, as he clearly has the talent and isn't scared to work.
My star player today was another player much maligned - Danny Rose. Barring getting beat by a simple push and run for their goal, he was outstanding today. He showed exactly the sort of performance you need from a left back if he has Eriksen in front of him - direct, attacking play. He bossed that left side completely
