"I'm still waiting for someone to tell me a game in which Ozil played terrible on the left whilst the rest of the team played well?"
I guess this is my whole point about Ozil, though.
When the team can carry him against the weaker sides, he'll do his stuff. He'll pass well, create chances for our team and generally be OK - even on the left hand side.
The issue is the tougher games where we can't really carry him and we need the entire midfield to contribute. Just doesn't show up.

The annoying thing for me is I facking loved Ozil at Real Madrid, one of my favourite players on earth, I actually modelled the way I play for my football team on him, little dribble through the midfield and release a ball to a forward. Was a beautiful player back then.
Would like Wenger to try

If, and it's a big if, it worked I think that could be brilliant. As soon as we win the ball back give it to Ozil to release whoever is free out of that interchanging front three
What do you expect when you put arguably the worlds best no.10 out wide and not central where he thrives most.
Cazorla has been awesome there this season so where could you put Ozil in order to accommodate him? Also, hasn't he scored 3 in 3 since coming back from injury, so how is he like that donkey Torres?
Finally, I think Wenger should have kept this guy, as he would have made all the difference last Saturday!

i dont think he has it in him the mental toughness for this league, when we play the poorer teams he will do well. However he drops a few notches when we play a tougher opponent. Look at Sanchez has that toughness u'd think he played his entire career in the epl.

your expecting Ozil to be like Sanches, they are completly different types of players and that the problem.
The whole team was poor bar a couple against Spurs.
Oh boy, we lost one game. Back to bashing all our players and placing them on the transfer list.

Please tell me the last time Ozil had a world class game against one of the big teams?

Ignoring the recent City win, have any of our players had "world class games" (whatever that means) against the big teams in the last few seasons?

Yet there are people who have said this season that Sanchez doesn't do it in the big games....
In fact people said that about Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry, arguably the two best players the Premiership has ever seen.
It's almost as if playing against the best teams is harder than playing against the poor ones?

Wasnt Sanchez outstanding against City in both games this season?
He wasnt at his best vs Liverpool and didnt play against Spurs min 10 mins the the first game.
Didnt watch the Chelsea game but Cahil should have been sent off for an awful challenge on him.
it's not that Ozil doesn't do it in big games it's that he gets worse and becomes a passenger. He looks better since he's come back but he has a long way to go, too many excuses made for his poor displays.
