YOU KNOW THE G00NS WILL DO IT...THEY ALWAYS DO.
dont think too many have talked about the 'power shift' this time around.
didnt think we had a hope at the start of the season......and still dont.
There's a Super Computer out there that agrees with you...(according to Talksport)

What Power Shift?
People are acting like this is the first time Tottenham have beaten arsenal in years.
During the past 4-5 Years you guys have usually gotten a good results against us at your place.
there is always a first time it might not happen, but then knowing Spurs luck we will probably win the CL if we don't get 4th
Arsenal do have the easier fixtures from here on in...their toughest ones are only:
Everton(h)
Liverpool(h)
Chelsea(h)
United (a)
so you'd expect them to go on that run and get some distance from the chasing pack. CL could be a distraction. They have Monaco which they should win, so maybe a minimum 4 CL games, and the FA Cup, so the back end of their season could get a bit congested.

I don't think anything in my life could ever top that if it happened.
On a more realistic note, I am concerned over top 4 this year, and I don't think it's safe to say we'll get it just cos we always do. The main reason being the number of teams competing for those places this season. They can't all bottle it.
Why does history always have to repeat itself like this? It's become the norm now. Used to be history repeating itself with Spurs way below us in standards, prefer that type of history.
Why do people always go on about the north London powershift? Why not ever the Manchester or Liverpool power shift. Both everton and city have finished above their local rivals in recent years. Yet we hear no talk of a powershift
We then went on to lose to Liverpool 3-2 away and end up finishing 5th.
......................................
No you finished 4th Chelsea qualified by winning CL.
Oh that was another season My bad you did finish 5th.
If we had followed up the win against Arsenal by beating liverpool then yeah, i'd have some belief that we might finish above arsenal this year.
But losing to Pool and Arsenal winning again makes it very difficult.
As someone else said, I didn't really expect top four this year. Maybe next year...
Why is this even a question? There's absolutely no way we'll get top 4. It's all about European commitments. It's no coincidence that Spurs and Liverpool's form has picked up whilst the Europa League lies dormant. The moment we start again, both clubs will drop away. Guaranteed. For me United are nailed on 3rd because they have no other commitments. Arsenal will then creep in 4th, just edging out Southampton. I don't think Spurs and Liverpool are even in it, depressingly.
As much as I want saints to do the fairy tale after pundits predicted them to get relegated I did predict the top 4 would include Man utd Chelsea Man City and Tottenham so if spurs do it then I don't mind as long as Man utd get 3rd.
For me United are nailed on 3rd because they have no other commitments.
...............................
I hope we progress in the fa cup and win it to knock Arsenal off the joint perch.
And the lasagna chef is on standby, just in case....
Football is a silly old game. Everything can happen.

There is no power shift to shift. Arsenal have won one trophy past 10 years, Spurs have won one trophy last 10 years. Finishing in the top four is a nonsense that Sky and all the other media morons have dreamed up as being like the holy grail of football. Arsenal always finishing above Spurs means absolutely SFA in the grand scheme of things. Who gives a feck?

It will not be a miracle.....its fated we will thrash them 4-0....with Ozil scoring a hat-trick and celebrating like he has won the lotto with each goal.............then Sanchez pops up and scores the 4th sending all of Arsenal and Barcelona into a frenzy.........
I facking hate this power shift shiiit, what the actual fack, who gives 2 shiits about Arsenal and their two bob team and fans and as for the fiddling manager he can fack off also.

Actually, we've won 2 FA Cups in the last 10 years. Oh, and league placings means a lot in the grand scheme of things. What an imbecilic comment. It determines titles, European qualifications, relegations and promotions, prize money and even good, old fashioned bragging rights. I know never finishing above Arsenal must make you insecure, but you don't expect anyone to buy your charade that it doesn't matter? Keep fooling yourself.
