So I did a bet both online and in shop at Ladbrokes yesterday, £2,200 on No San Marino Goalscorer @10/11, the max bets always appear to be capped at £2k profit, maybe slightly more or less to the nearest £1.

Well they have resettled the bets @1/9. I obviously traded all my risk off by backing San Marino to score (£300 on a Betway account and another £380 in a Ladbrokes shop). So I'm over £200 down!

Not much I can do about online, however in shop should I try get them to refund the losing £380 bet (yeah like that would happen) as a gesture of goodwill or try claiming I always stake the max bet, so their system error has cost me profit, as if the correct odds were displayed I'd have placed £18k bet?

Complaining once got me a win on an FA Cup Special, only about £100 though

a mate took me to the match, notts were awful, cant believe they are top of the league, forest green didn't look too bad, amazed that there is such a gap between the two in the table

If they gave you 10/11 in the shop, surely they have to honour it????

If it's an obvious error, they can resettle at the correct odds. This is fair enough, but how many occasions do you think it happens the other way around, so for example, the favourite San Marino goalscorer was just 7/2, obviously that was an error and should have been much higher, they were 9/2 for the team to score a goal. So if I'd put £500 on 7/2 and it won, does anyone seriously think they'd increase the price and settle it at say 9/1? I certainly don't!
