Lovren should never have been signed. Wanyama and that french lad made him look good. Much like Leon Britton did at Swansea for the useless Allen.

He was intimidated by the atmosphere

Disappointing but we were not good over the two legs, all part of the learning curve for a young side and manager. BR has lots to learn about European football but all this will be taken on board for hopefully a cl campaign next year.

We had to loose a game soon so hopefully this is it and we can continue the good league form and beat Blackburn in the cup.

Never good to go out but we move on still plenty to be excited about this year

Gotta question why with extra time looming and possibly pens, Balo gets taken off.

Should've been one of the centre backs going off.

Allen did ok tonight no one bar skrtel and Ming played well really

Disappointing but we were not good over the two legs, all part of the learning curve for a young side and manager. BR has lots to learn about European football but all this will be taken on board for hopefully a cl campaign next year.

Rafa sets up his teams to score away goals. Napoli won the Italian cup last season. Won them with Liverpool Chelsea Inter Napoli. His teams do it all the time. That is why he has been sucsseful in cup and knock out competitions. Rodgers teams always get knocked out. We only scored away to that Bulgarian team. Could have reached capital cup final had we scored an away goal. Terrible record. Obviously we are not going to win the league with this team and any cups under Rodgers.

We need to but goal scorers. Not just strikers but also midfielderso.

Not the worst game to lose at this stage of the season - this competition is essentially pointless and a drain....

So when sterling negotister come to the table again ayre should tell em where to stick some.of that cash they want

I know this is a cliché but I'm glad we are out of it.

Beskitas are grinders.

Could see them getting to the latter stages, very tough side to beat as all 3 English sides they have faced have found.

All about regrouping now.

Start another good run by avoiding defeat on Sunday and then beat Burnley and Blackburn.

Big ask for Sunday now, probably without Sturridge too

It's a good job the managers and players who put this club where it is didn't think like you do. We would all be currently supporting a team along the lines of Aston Villa.
