Studge and sterling were awful tonight, very bizarre.

It could be a blessing in disguise for the top 4.

Competing on all 3 fronts was always a massive ask when we are playing catch up in the league.

Something was going to give eventually, probably best it's the Europa at an early stage.

I'm not lieing I'm gutted we are out but watching that tripe we served up tonight there is no way we would be able to cope with the Thursday Sunday nonsense, we would have gone out later in the competition whilst probably affecting our league form so better now than later.

We depend so much on pace to beat teams in the league and domestic cups but in Europe the pace gets so much slower.

Everton have been excellent in Europe. They can go all the way

Sorry, but I'm well disappointed that we're out no matter what positives anyone can find. Seeing your team lose and in that manner should hurt any fan

Good as a defender doing his job. As for leadership he passed the buck.

apart from Can our midfielders were poor. They kept losing the ball. Sterling Sturridge and Ballotelli were awful.

Terrible team selection and tactics. Every time one of our player had the ball he was surrounded by 3 or more Besiktas players and none from our team. It was wrong to defend deep and leave two strikers while our midfielders were sitting back. Shocking performance. Without Coutinho we create very little.

Some people may not get the chance again for a while
