We stagnated badly, then the wheels fell of dramatically, yes we could have limited the damage but the reality is that the best thing to happen to wolves after the first relegation was a complete reboot.

We are in a far better position now than we would have been had we scraped survival under Deano, it is no surprise that even a few of our players have said this, that in itself tells you a tale.

We now have a very young side full of promising talent and much more to come, and i fully expect us to improve again next season.

The future is very bright.

And by the way, i know it was tongue in cheek suggesting top ten is success to us, but you know that isn't the case.

We are no different to you in the grand scheme of things, you could quite easily collapse like Wigan if you got relegated, or amble in mid table like Cardiff, surviving a few years in the prem doesn't mean you are being successful, it means you are slightly less poor than a few other sides and it is a lottery each season as to who goes down from about 8 teams.

last season i spent my hard-earned going to 8 games at the golden palace, and every one a winner

this season i've been to 4 so far, bit of a let down after last season, 4 wins and a draw

After the disastrous seasons Wolves have had, not dropping down in a division must be viewed as looking up. So yeah, 9th in the Championship, things are looking up for Wolves. Party time.

If you say so, but I will say that for the "massive" club you claim you are, your standards in the past few seasons have dropped far lower than would be acceptable to any self-respecting "massive" club.

I guess for the simpletons who think being in the prem equals 'massive' then yes, but anyone with a brain recognizes that we are in a group of about 15-20 clubs who over a period of years will generally bounce between the prem and champo.

You and us are in that same group, you are not an established prem side, you face relegation every season, and once relegated there is no guarantee you are coming back up.
