Ajisaram.
I totally endorse your very fine assessment. I submitted my post before reading yours but it seems we're both saying the same things.
Not trying to compete Ramdini
Quite how our assessment of the players is virtually identical.
1st half - Grant 7, Christie 7, Keogh 7, Shotton 7, Forsyth 7, Hughes 9, Thorne 9, Hendrick 9, Ince 8, Bent 8, Lingard 8
2nd half - Grant 6, Christie 6, Keogh 8, Shotton 5, Forsyth 6, Hughes 6, Thorne 7, Hendrick 6, Ince 4, Bent 5, Lingard 5 (Dawkins 4, Mascarell 1, Bryson 6)
I completely missed Bryson out. Sorry about that.
Marco clearly as much of a fan of Mascarell as I am.
I'm not sold on Omar either, at least not as a DM. Think he could do a job in a more penetrative position though.
He just seems completely shot of confidence AJ, in recent weeks you get a constant fear that he's going to balls up whenever he's on the ball.
That said, there's definitely a player in there - his performances against Wolves and against Chelsea spring to mind - absolutely superb.
He's certainly not the man for these last 13 games where every game now has a massive impact on our final standing.
Don't agree about Thorne being man of the match or that Dawkins was rubbish when he came on. Thought Hughes and Hendrick were by far our best two players. Dawkins has been going outside the defendedr in the last two games and causing far more problems.
Mascerell appeared to be wanting to impress with quality long balls and was missing out last night. Reminded me of his first appearance on the opening day of the season where he kicked it out of play with his first six kicks. Only one of his passes to Bent came off but Bent was given offside. Playing the 40 yard pass only looks good when it goes to our players.
Grant 6
Christie 6
Forsyth 6
Keogh 7
Shotton 6
Thorne 7
Hughes 7
Hendrick 8
Lingard 6
Ince 6
Bent 5
Dawkins 6
Bryson 6
Oscar 4
Shotton made two excellent tackles first half which had he mistimed would probably have seen him off or Charlton through on goal, Grant of course would have stopped them but that's not the point.
Thought Christie was showing signs of beginning to get it together again, if he can keep his composure in the final third and find some confidence in his shooting game, he'd be up there with the legend that is the Dawks.
That subs bench is going to be pretty competitive when the Eust, Martin and Russell come back. Assuming of course Will and George will be okay.
Pray for them.
Was it Dawkins who came on for Lingard? I could of sworn it was Ward.

I thought it was Gary Teale.
2 Wellies
May as well have been Nick Pickering for the impact Dawkins had.
Dawks will come good, would start with him and Ward on Saturday keep the Lingard and Ince aces up our sleeves.
