Just the one world cup and 2 European championships...for shame.

He's basically an overrated version of Coutinho, who we all agree is an average player

If David Silva had my "most improved 97/98" on his cv there would e no questions as to his ability, but sadly for him...

Yes I know his trophy cabinet has the likes of the World cup in there, and the euro championships from 2008 and 2012 and he's got 2 premier league winners medals along with an fa cup but is that it ?

but he really does need to improve on certain aspects of his game before he can be mentioned alongside the likes of ozil, ox and the other no,10s in the game.

This is clearly a Spoof article (you cant even call it a WUM)

Problem is when its posted on the Arsenal board you cant always be sure.

Some of them do actually think this way.

Thing is, although a lot of what the OP says is rubbish, the way a lot of people go on about David Silva you'd expect his goal tally to be up there with Ronaldo and Messi

its all about opinions, obviously we're all not gna have the same opinion.

Why would you expect his goal tally to be up there with Ronaldo or Messi. No man in the world has ever compared him to either!

You're saying that he has to do more to get on the same level as Oxlade-Chamberlain and you wonder why you're not being taken seriously?

just to be clear, I really rate David Silva but he doesnt score enough in my view. he's 29 now and soon he'll be past his peak.

I think he might look back and think he should have done more in his career and been more prolific in front of goal

just my opinion though, sorry!

in my view, oxlade is one of the best young talents in this league especially when he's play in behind the striker.

He's just lacking a little bit of composure in front of goal but the thing is he is so young and compared to David Silva, he has so much more time left in his career, who knows the heights he will hit if he continues to improve year on year. could well be talking about a move to Madrid if he plays his cards right. David Silva would be on the wane by that time.

Again just my opinion Samir

Not being as prolific as Ronaldo or Messi is probably all that separates te three, but in fairness he doesn't play as direct a role

What cannot be disputed is that Silva has a nice face, and a touch so good he could poke a toe up your bum while you slept and you wouldn't even stir.
