Ramsey...

Regardless of anything else, I'd like Alexis to be rested. Looked tired recently, not sharp either. Need him at 100% for the United game.

Still don't see the point of having both Cazorla and Ozil in the same XI. They just get in each others way

I'd go something like Welbeck - Giroud -- Ox

With Ozil behind them

And Coq / Ramsey behind him.

I know alot of people dont like Ramsey this season but the control in MF during the last 4-5 games since hes been injured has been diablical. We seem to be getting outfought and outnumbered all the time as have been quite lucky we have got the right result.

If ramsey 100% fit he comes in and slots in next to Coq. I'd rest/drop Alexis to the bench and move Ozil out there with Santi taking up the no10 role.

----------Coq-------Ramsey-------
--Welbeck----Santi-------Ozil

Could possibly play Ox in place of welbeck or walcott.

DJ, would you really bring him straight back into the team?

In my opinion, Wenger needs to drop Ramsey to show him he's not been good enough this season. His time out recently has been due to injury, so he's probably still going to come back and play with that trademark arrogance of his, where he vies for Hollywood but ends up falling short of London's West End. If he knows he's being kept out of the team due to his substandard performances, it'll probably give him the kick up the backside he needs.

Chris - You would leave Cazorla out for Ozil? Just for one game or in general?

Bo$$ - Yes, despite his own individual performances being good, the team doesn't sit well with Cazorla playing deeper. You can't really fault what he is doing, and people will point to various statistics about how he performed on Sunday, but the bigger picture is that Arsenal are not as good with Santi deep.

I'm really indifferent to Welbeck atm, keep him on the bench. Give Theo a chance, he could wreck them.

Can you really risk Ramsey straight away after returning from injury?

Only change I can see is Ox dropping out, one of Welbeck/Walcott coming in.

Pants - Yes, I think the team needs the right balance. I don't think we are getting it at the moment.

And obviously Coquelin if he can't make it. In which case Ramsey will probably have to start.

I'd like to see them competing for one spot, rather than both just walking into the team, week after week.

I think overall this season, Cazorla has delivered much more than Ozil in terms of performances.

But I think if we can get it right with Ozil, his ceiling is far higher than Santi's, not to mention he's a couple of years younger.

Balance, I agree with; but if anything, Ramsey will come back and try to 'prove his worth' or 'repay the faith' shown to him by Wenger, which will probably mean that he will try too much and end up costing us. I'm just not his biggest votary right now.

Ramsey benched. Simples!

Agree as well.....we have no real rhythm and starting slow usually.

I want Theo to start. Would rest Özil, Giroud for that game. Bring on Danny and Ramsey back.

I agree with this!

They need to be rotated but the trouble is with have the silky Rosicky who also should be in that rotation. Could always put Rosicky out wide I guess but Santi and Ozil have to play in the middle otherwise they are wasted.

Like to see Welbeck through the middle and Walcott given a start.

Rosicky is much better as an impact sub imo

Don't think he has the speed and energy to do it for 90 minutes against good sides. He has got nowhere near Southampton twice this season

I think so too although he can still handle 90 mins in some games.

But this is the trouble. IMO Ozil and Santi should be subbing one another because it their best position, so what do we do with Rosicky? He brings so much quality, balance and style to the team as a sub to shut him out. This is why Ozil and Santi get played out of position.

I never want to see Ozil or Welbeck on the wing again, but I am sure I will!

If we absolutely have to play 2 out of Ozil, Cazorla and Rosicky, even though I rate TR the least out of those, I'd have him first just to avoid having to play the first two together.

Ozil and Cazorla are so similar in terms of the space they like to occupy, the runs they like to make and the passes they tend to look for.

Starting Cazorla deep and Ozil further forward always starts OK but gradually they just get closer together as Ozil drops deep and Caz pushes up.

Rosicky at least gives us something different. He can drive past players much better than the other two, and isn't afraid to take a risk with a touch that pushes the ball 8 or 9 yards ahead of him

I would go with Ramsey for Coq. Coq not yet 100%, he will be wearing a protective mask today. We need him for the Man U match more than tonight.

QPR are difficult away whatever their position in the league and they were a bit unlucky in the last 20 mins at the Emirates not to get a draw.

Away game so have to go 3 in midfield. Spurs's da Palace away we've been over run in there. Take out Alexis and play 4-1-4-1

Despite his good short term form, Cazorla is the one that will be benched in the medium term.

Ramsey is essential, Ozil & Sanchez are the star players, and Walcott/Welbeck/Ox can't all be on the bench. Arteta or Coquelin will play DM, so there's no space for Cazorla. To be honest, he's not really worth squeezing into the team at the expense of the others anyway.

Ramsey Coquelin
Ox Ozil Alexis
Giroud

It's this a joke . Cazorla is first on the team sheet when fit.
Our most creative player even from deep. Does the defensive side of things too.

When fit one of Ramsey / Wilshere have to start every game alongside a dm (coq/arteta). Cazorla can't run the game from that position like they do. And Ozils too lightweight to play there. Rosicky could do a job but he hardly plays these days.

Its a shame that both of these guys have been injured at the same time, we've lost 2 big games because of losing the midfield battle.
