Constructive criticism if you don’t mind, how about alternating the chorus to the effect that you are also hers? Sounds little possessive at the moment and I think alternating it would give more balance, it is a partnership.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Criticism taken on board mate, but I just don't think other words would have the right sound for those higher notes. The words fine/mine/sublime etc just seem to sound and fit right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough, I like it, was just a suggestion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cheers mate

Weddings are ridiculously over priced, it's the small things thag add up.
My venue is £50 a head for the day and that's without a choice of menu and I have 59 members of family myself.
I've been reminded of this (like its my fault) so Im just letting her get on with anything else she wants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My in laws are real foodies and into their wine so we went all out on the menu and wine, we cut back on other things like flowers/bouquets which are truly a rip off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
IO sorted the venue and drinks reception and prices for all that, which is one of the big ones as i used to run a pub/venue so that was easy to negotiate for me.
BIG TIP- dont pay for the extension to the bar license make the venue pay. They will do if you push it as it is an hour and a half extra drinking in their venue. They will always say its your cost but it really isnt...

Get married abroad, in school term time. Stops a lot of fackers that you don't particularly like but feel you have to invite from turning up. Especially annoying little kids...
Genuinely can't remember what songs we had at my wedding - doesn't matter cos I am not with her anymore.
Been with my woman for 15+ years now, still not married her. Marriage is a complete waste of money, and brings unneccesary hassles and pressures into a relationship.
Unless you are religious, what is the point in getting married?
I chose the Theme from 'Shaft' for my wedding

It was all about finding a place that didn't charge corkage for us. For the Champagne, we actually went to Sainsburys when they had bottles for half price. So instead of 30 it was 15. We bought 60 odd bottles and when they printed out the receipt at the end it said "The money you saved on todays shop was £1,000."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a good way of doing it. My uncle went on the ferry to france and did it that way. Not sure he saved much. I could have got the ale wholesale but delivery costs and favours i needed from mates that i wanted there didnt make it worth while.
Once id saved a lot of money on the venue i just let her crack on with it TBH.

I’ve got nothing against marriage for other people but it doesn’t appeal to me, I consider my partner my wife, we’ve been together 8 years, lived together 6 years and she did demand a diamond ring when I made it clear I don’t want an official marriage. To me it just complicates things, I’m not religious and the obligation to marry always seemed for ever one else’s benefit. She would like to and I feel a bit guilty denying that but I think how I treat her day to day in our lives is more important.

my wedding cost 1 and a half grand
Didnt have a lot at the time and didnt want to be paying it off for the next 20 years so just got married in a registary office.
we were this venues first wedding so we got the hall, disco, a day meal for 50 woth wine, drinks when we arrived, the hall decorated and evening buffet for 100 and the photographer for that price.
the whole day was awesome and despite the low price didnt have a single grumble about the food or anything.

I was only joking mate. I am married now, but my son was born a year before we got married.
Marriage is all down to personal choice for me. We aren't religious so we just had a civil ceremony. I wouldn't have been bothered if we didn't get married, but the wife wanted it and it is kind of nice I guess.
