always go for the win, always
none of us are expecting CL next season so we've absolutely nothing to lose and nothing to fear
Go for it - rather lose trying to get the 3 points.
*rather than sit back and play for a draw...which we'll end up losing by a dodgy penalty in the last minute or sommat anyway, no doubt
go for the win.......gotta learn to be ruthless.
You beat us at this late stage of the season should give you guys the confidence for top 4. Thats why we have to win but apart from MUDD not many of us are confident.
you're 3 points off top4 and United have a horror fixture list
I don't think a draw would be the end of days
From a tactical stand point though, letting United come at you plays to their strengths. That back 4 is as porous as a team of titus brambles. I think going toe to toe is probably likely to get a win or draw.
The only obstacle is the doughnut thief in goal. he's so f%%king good
Rather 3 points than 1 but rather 1 point than 0 so in conclusion I don't know
I feel a draw would leave us with an uphill struggle, albeit still a possibility.
A defeat would be virtually it.
As such I'd call it a must-not-lose because of the amount of games left after to change it
With the fixtures starting to run out, and it being against one of our rivals for 4th, it has to be a win.
A draw will be a respectable result on paper but if we want to keep the season alive then it has to be a win.
I'm already starting to feel pre-match nerves about this game. It's massive, i just hope we can deliver and keep the hope alive.
Parking the bus isn't the Spurs way. I'd rather see us lose trying to win it than lose it anyway with a soft penalty or a defensive blunder (which is inevitable whichever way we play it)

There is an old saying that "attack is the best form of defence". And with out defence always capable of letting a goal or two in then it will be undoubtedly true.
They look vulnerable now, especially with the suspension of Di Maria, someone saying the other day that Van Persie is out for a month, Shaw went off injured half-time in the cup match.
Lets go for it, must be exciting to see a full throttle match rather than trying not to lose. I was sorry to see Chelsea resort to a defence first mentality at Wembley. I've always thought that one of the best qualities of the top teams is that they go out to win each match, not to not lose. That now seems to be creeping in to their mentality now. I hope Spurs are the last team to abandon open attacking football, playing most of the game in the opposition half.
You are so right about Chelsea Bill...Jose sets his teams up like that in all big games. It's clever and effective but they will never be one of the greats....Spending £1bn and parking the bus in the big games is pathetic when you break it down.
Jose wins games by playing that way. Sometimes needs arise.
Whatever type of game we all personally see it as, we will set up virtually as we have done all season - 4231, with high energy.
I think our style suits playing them, as we won't let their CMs have the time to pick their passes, and their back four look quite nervous and uncomfortable under pressure.

Weare
that's a double mate.
I had a CL bet on last night....home wins for Porto, Chelsea, Bayern & Real, accie which would have paid about £45 off £10bet. Real fecking lost
The last time i bet it was on a similar thing, 4 CL games , all home bankers totally about 4:1 odds.....the one that let me down was Arsenal Ajax. Arsenal were 3-0 at HT. When I saw the results of teh other games i checked my account to see how much I had won and it said £0.....confused i went to the BBC page and saw that Arsenal let a 3-0 at home to Ajax slip.
Dont know why I bother, certainly never bet on Spurs.
Don't bet on Arsenal either
Both have let me down before, bankers too. Not worth it. The hate for Rochdale not scoring at home despite averaging two a game soon subsides
Go balls out for the win, defensive is not in Spurs DNA and we're cack at it.
The biggest concern is Clattenburg is the referee
Real also bust my acca last night
