Saints have really missed Schneiderlin in recent weeks, his partnership with Wanyama is very good.
Was told by a Saints ST holder the other day that the reason Alderweireld hasn't been playing much isn't because of an injury but because he's a self harmer.
Really? That's odd. Sad if true.
It would solve a lot of problems if we bought both Wanyama and Schneiderlin. Unlikely, of course.
Yeah sad if true. Did always think it was odd that a regular for Atletico last season went on loan to Saints, maybe that was the reason?

Looking at this game, one thing id clear to me. I will not swap this league for any other. All this rubbish about this league being chit is all nonsense. Imagine the equivalent of Southampton facing barcelona, Madrid or Bayern at home, would've been game over already. This league is as competitive as they come. If people want the likes of chelsea, united and arsenal to just steamroll teams, then, this is not the league for you.
scholayScholes
Yeah because 7th in La Liga would never have a chance against top away from home.
FYI, Malaga are 7th and won at Barca a couple weeks ago.
Scholay.
There are many good qualities to the PL and for years I have defended it against other leagues and believed every word I typed.
But this season the quality has been at its lowest. Look at the players out there today. Fabregas has been awful. Hazard too. Oscar is doing nothing.
It's one thing seeing the smaller clubs compete - which is a plus for the PL. It's a whole other thing seeing the supposedly best players in the PL not even turn up on the day.
Back when I think the league was at its best was in the 2000's. Compare the Saints/Chelsea game to when United played Spurs in 2009. That was a big side having to fight for our lives against Spurs but all the big players turned up on that day. We started abysmally and went 2-0 down. But the big players showed some magic and the match was an epic. This isn't that. all credit is due to the Saints midfield for being good but it's hardly a spectacle of a game.

I heard something like that a while ago. He has a large tattoo on his arm of Antwerp Cathederal. Maybe to hide scars...

They're not doing anything, because as your article clearly states, the players they're facing are no mooks. Look at mane giving Terry and Cahill the runaround. That turnaround had as much to do with our manager as our players.
Alderweireld hasn't been playing much isn't because of an injury but because he's a self harmer.

Yes they would. A one of. Playing an out of sorts Barcelona at the time. Southampton playing champions elect here.
Robb you post as many Soton articles as you do United articles, why don't you attend some of their games?
We need to do everything to get Clyne. Fark valencia, fark rafa.
Scholay, Chelsea are just as out of sorts as Barca were.

I just admire watching decent teams. Saints are an example to LVG of how to gel quickly and follow a simple set of tactics.
Barca weren't out of sorts, it was their first defeat this year. Chelsea are in far less form at the moment.
Just admit your last comment was complete nonsense. Malaga are the Spanish equivalent in terms of league position and they beat top of the league away from home. Stop making excuses.
