Terrible decision would be far better than Cani and a good honest professional.
He'd be better than Cani, Morison put together...so yes it was a really bad decision....
I liked Smith, much more than the dislike I had for moaning McContract.
Smith is much better than Morison, but he needs to play in a formation where there's 2 strikers, which we had in beginning till Redders changed it, and changed the team.
Performances haven't changed since Redders changed the formation, results did aided by a lot of luck.
Smith probably wasn't in Cellinos plans at time, for me it could be a bad decision, it could be a good decision, I can't say either cos imo the problem is Redders.
Why did Redfearn change it Luvr? Oh yes, because we were on the verge of relegation.
What happened when he changed it?
Oh yes, we are one of the form teams in the league and everyone is feeling really positive....apart from you! WUM
Who was the poster who used to mention Simon Grayson in every posting he wrote, regardless of the topic of the thread?
And just on a side note while were at it, out of all the games since he changed it that we haven't improved (apparently), how many of them did you go to?
JLA,
Clive was it? Sounding more and more like him by the day....he needs to go the same way as he did

I miss Clive, apart from the agenda with Grayson, he knew his stuff.
Redfearn took us down to relegation zone playing his silly diamond. People seem to thin khe came in and saved us when actually he took us down their with lack of tactics/ideas.
As for Smith, wasn't great on the deck but that's not our style these days so yeah we do miss him
Only Morison saved us but I wish Redders would realize that Two strikers, one of whom was Morison would storm this league.
Morison up front with Antenucci providing the one two's
So Shaun if its all Redfearn's fault regarding the diamond and taking us to 19th, who gets the credit for going on a good run since Christmas and becoming one of the form teams?
Do you two clowns have anything positive to say? Or cant you accept the fact that Neil has done a good job without your fancy named players?
The drum beat from Luvr and Shaun has become just as tiresome as Clive was. They are entitled to their opinions, of course, but to persist with bleating it on every single thread regardless of topic is just not good.
I would agree with them fully if we were playing badly.
But given they were all happy and cheery when were actually struggling and playing awful but now complaining and wanting Redfearn out now we are winning just shows them up for what they are.
we don't press enough when it comes to attacking teams. we play the same way at home as we do away! we counter attack most games and in fairness its not the greatest to watch but its effective and its gained us many points. this way wouldn't get us promoted, we need wingers and very good ones at that. playing Morison at right wing back was the stupidest thing I've ever seen! Watching a centre back pushing on further than a striker down the flanks messed with my head, and then watching a right back storm down the left with a left back! and finally the target man being the smallest man on the pitch!
I still maintain next season we will go up as champions with couple of talented additions
So you guys are happy with finishing 13th? Redfearn took us down to 19th end of, changed the tactics and saved his own his ar5e. I'm hardly talking crap ....
Shaun
You're talking as if we've got a top class squad.
It's not a bad squad
* Good depth
* Young, good for fitness
* Physical players in it like Austin, Bellusci
If we had ditched the diamond 5/6 games sooner we might have been a bit higher. We threw away leads against Rotherham and Wolves due to poor management.
As soon as we got a settled side and found the right formation we started winning....what the hell do you expect from him? You are so desperate to be proven right about the likes of Bianchi, Montenegro and Doukara that you hate Redfearn for not playing them, even though he is right not to!
He had to step in after the Hockaday debacle and got us a few wins, he was then tossed aside for Milanic where we got stuck in a rut and then he came in again and struggled with the formation and players and a lack of confidence!
He made some changes and since Christmas we've been a million times better....but you can't please some people, mainly nobs on message boards who don't go to games!
Ring any bells Shaun?
And you know the Wolves and Royherham games were nothing to with Redfearn don't you?
Shaun, if we finish 13th, fine. Big picture is NR has got the team playing as a team. As many have said, brought the outcasts back, and brought in the youth.
Not only that, he's weaving the imports back in.
I think he's done a great job utilizing his squad.
Do I agree with every move or player? That's irrelevant. NR and Thommo are finding ways.
I seriously see progress. Future looks bright again.
Give Redders some credit. I reckon he's earned it
mate.
"Rotherham and Wolves"
I'm 95% sure Milanic was in charge for these two games. In fact certain of the Wolves one as I went away the following day and was reading the programme on the plane and some idiot thought he'd point out how we'd sacked a 2nd coach
It was Milanic Sir, 100%, another embarassing comment from one half of our resident clown duo
