Just reading through these comments and its strange; Fergie used to do this all the time and Mourinho is the current master of pressurising referees before a game.

When they do it, it's considered mind games. Good management even, highlighting an issue which may or may not be there in order to get a decision or two your way in the game.

When Roach does it then he and Manny are scared and are getting their excuses in early.

Anyone else think it's a bit nuts? Fans of either boxer seem to be jumping on every little thing in the build up to this fight.

Perfect case in point.

Is Mourinho crappping himself when he spouts rubbish about conspiracies? Of course he's not. He's trying to influence games. Just like Roach.

Yup I agree. I guess it's down to the fact that nobody really knows what's going to happen in this fight. I've listened to so many opinions from boxing people and it's clear that nobody really has any idea how this fight will pan out.

I just hope we see a really good fight and I don't think it really matters who wins. What really matters is that these two fighters give us a fight to remember because after all these years of waiting we deserve it.

If it's a boring fight then history will look less kindly on both fighters I think.

If Floyd doesn't try to hug and clinch Manny throughout the fight then I'm pretty sure it will be a great fight. If Floyd does clinch and hug then it could turn out to be a boring fight.

That's not to say that Floyd doesn't have every right to clinch and hug, I just hope that he doesn't because in my opinion that will be the difference as to whether we get a great fight or not.

Spot on this superb don't really agree with the hugging and clinching bit as imo it's not done as much as people think (the only real reference people have is the Hatton fight) But I agree 100 percent with everything else.

I'm not saying I want to see a knockout. I'd be surprised if we get one in this fight. I just want to see an entertaining and memorable fight regardless of who wins.

I think we deserve it after waiting all these years and with both fighters getting paid in excess of 200 million dollars just for this fight I think we're entitled to expect something at least fairly memorable.
