Am I right in saying the ref didn't show a single card all match?

people suddenly think walcott is a powerhouse

Hes looked rusty and off the pace since coming back, while we are winning and others are playing well in those positions he should not be brought on

I want him back as much as others but why risk losing a game for it

Carzola looks a bit tired. Wish Wenger would start Rosicky,

Liked Gabriel's performance

If Wenger is going to use Welbeck out wide then it's better to play Walcott there instead, he is a better winger.

Are people so dumb? Walcott wouldn't have helped much. There was no one that could play a simple pass out there today, how the fack do you expect Walcott to do anything. We missed Ox big time today
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its very simple. Play the ball into space over the top from your CBs. Newcastle pushed up and left acres of space behind their 'high line'.

If no one is willing to run into space and everyone wants it to feet like OXO does, how is he going to dribble through 3 defenders?

Welbeck carried the ball out and did at times relieve pressure. Walcott needs providers to feed the ball and we had no one out there today to do that.

This Walcott hype is a bore, the player we missed was Ox.

You are not seriously suggesting Welbeck is a better winger than Walcott, are you?

Welbeck is just a work horse. Doesn't play out wide and offeres nothing in terms of goals.

I don't mind him playing as a central striker but not out wide

if they brought on theo do you think they would just leave him unmarked and not stuck anyone on him? that had been fouling and holding us all game, they are a tough team, it would have broken theo

It's not at simple as that. You need a creative player to loop that ball over to Walcott. Cazorla was tired today so off his game and no Ozil

Fans have such short memories

Now all of a sudden Welbeck is a better option than walcott

It is as simple as that.

It seems you never watched Henry play.

Pace over the top kills. Oxo, Alexis, even welbeck like it to feet. So they keep on coming short instead of going long. Its the oldest tactic in football.

We wouldn't have been pressed by newcastle as much if walcott came on. If they did then space would have been created.

He has an amazing record v Newcastle like Giroud

This isn't FIFA. Henry was different, he had technique and power to shove of defenders. With Walcott it has to be incise through balls, he has no clue how to take on players, and just ends up stopping when a defender comes across him.

Its more to do with Wenger trusting Welbeck more defensively, that is the only reason i can think why he is getting the nod over Theo. Got the 3pts although we were awful.

I'm honestly mystified as to how we won that worst second half performance of the season aside from the Monaco game.

Fack me these same posters were saying after the Spurs game that walcott was a definitely first team player.

He missed a whole years, comes back and does ok. Scores 3 goals and all of a sudden a player like Welbeck is being preffered to him.

Only arsenal fans!
