Are people so dumb? Walcott wouldn't have helped much. There was no one that could play a simple pass out there today, how the fack do you expect Walcott to do anything. We missed Ox big time today
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its very simple. Play the ball into space over the top from your CBs. Newcastle pushed up and left acres of space behind their 'high line'.
If no one is willing to run into space and everyone wants it to feet like OXO does, how is he going to dribble through 3 defenders?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not at simple as that. You need a creative player to loop that ball over to Walcott. Cazorla was tired today so off his game and no Ozil
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is as simple as that.
It seems you never watched Henry play.
Pace over the top kills. Oxo, Alexis, even welbeck like it to feet. So they keep on coming short instead of going long. Its the oldest tactic in football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This isn't FIFA. Henry was different, he had technique and power to shove of defenders. With Walcott it has to be incise through balls, he has no clue how to take on players, and just ends up stopping when a defender comes across him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No son. It isn't FIFA.
Walcott stats before his injury were just as good as Bale. I know you were one of the walcott haters but you really don't appreciate what he gives us.
Just a reminder

The point you are missing Castor is the Theo you are talking about is not the same Theo before his injury. At the moment he can hardly trap the ball or even get a proper shot away. Wenger sees this in training.
Bellerin was a very good sub in the end as it put newcastle on the back foot.
Welbeck is always a good option when Giroud is on the field as he is an outlet and gives us forward momentum since Sanchez is rubbish at the moment.
We can't have Walcott, Giroud and theo at the same time away from home against a team that was pressuring is like that.
Our best outlet at the moment is Ox, with Sanchez being aimless. Thro is certainly not the solution.
I wonder why you can't get it
We stopped to play football second half. Why cant we watch a relaxed game for once?
youre only as good as your last game

-----------------------
He maybe rusty. But he gives you an outlet and forces teams back.
Hit the post after coming against Monaco and immediately the Monaco manger brought on an extra defender to man mark him.
Thats what he did in the West Ham game as well. He already has more goals than a lot of our forwards getting regular games.
!5-20 mins in each game is something wenger can easily give him if it were not for his contract.
We can't have Walcott, Giroud and theo at the same time

I thought that was obvious
We can't have Walcott, Giroud and theo at the same time
------------------------------------------------
Just shows the confusion of some people on here.
15-20 mins in games where it is sewn up, not where every game counts and we are holding on
best form in 2 years and people moan it doesnt work
Walcott creates opportunities in pretty much every game due to his movement.
How often you see Welbeck going through the defense on goal? Just doesn't hsopen
he did a year ago but hes not the same player at the moment
Castor, you don't understand the tactics of the modern game do you. Theo would have been of no use today as per the comments above. I won't repeat them. It would appear your beloved Theo is no longer wanted or needed at Arsenal Football Club. Get over it.
Agree with Garwood here
In most games when we've been hanging on Theo would have been great. The most known was vs West Ham, where we were counter attacking well but Ox and Welbz finishing were poor.
Today though Theo would not have done any difference and in fact could've made it worse cos he would've made runs and we would've looked to have gone over the top, but that would've let to us losing the ball in the end. We weren't even threatening Newcastle 2nd half and couldn't keep hold of the ball and pass simple (Coq struggled). What we needed was to keep the ball better and Rosicky did that well
